Can you catch bass everywhere?

I mainly fish deep clear water but when I move around to other lakes, water clarity dictates what I throw.

Bass are aggressive predators that ambush prey no matter their geographic location.

I've found no difference in their aggressiveness from various states but if I moved to a different state, I'm sure there would be a learning curve to optimize productivity.

Caught LMB everywhere I have fished across the country, Mexico and Canada.

Some locations require adapting to the specific ecosystem the bass have chosen to locate. Most difficult for me is heavy cover because most of my experience is targeting bass in What is to normal cover that doesn’t require specialized tackle like heavy flipping/punching. Our CA delta has some extremely heavy cover and have some experience with catching bass in the Delta.

When FLMB were 1st introduced we believed live bait was the best technique and adapted to using lures specifically for FLMB. Years of experience catching wary FLMB allowed me to catch NLMB, Spotted and Smallmouth bass everywhere else.
It takes some time to figure out where the bass are located and what the bass are feeding on. When you figure out the location catching them is a matter of using a lure they will strike.

After decades of catching smallmouth in rocky lakes, fishing for lmb in heavy cover was tough for me too.

I have caught fish about everywhere I have fished; SouthCarolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri and Canada, some areas with more success than others.

I’m a Midwest fisherman, shallow(ish) lakes with plenty of cover, junk fishing. Those are the features I look for when fishing other unfamiliar locations which helps being successful. Fishing what you know.

Big deep reservoirs are my nemesis and I rarely do well,,,except for last light, night fishing and then success is still limited.
Table Rock was really hard and Canada was brutal because I hate catching pike 😵‍💫

Of the places I have been, the only really significant change in bass behavior from what I normally see here in central AZ has been East Texas, fish were far more aggressive and less spooky than their desert dwelling cousins.

Where I am fishing this time of year, the bass are hanging around submerged vegetation and are spooky due to fishing pressure. In the winter and early spring the bass will be moving more.
