Not even a question, BPS Platinum reel. I own several, no issues, very reliable, durable. Only reel I’ll ever buy from here on out.

Ergo: Daiwa Kage....the Platinum is just relabeled for sale by BPS

 

Me, given my budget - Shimano Miravel for spinning, Daiwa Tatula 100 for casting. They've been rock solid.

15 Metanium DC XG, It was my first DC and my best reel ever.

Shimano Core 50MG7 with brass brenious gears 7.7

Good to know, thank you Ken. I knew the Platinum spinning reel is made by Diawa, didn’t know that about the baitcasters.
