Thanks

Main increase was in meat -

2 months ago ground beef was $4.99/lb - latest shopping trip it was $6.99/lb

Chicken Thighs (skin and bones still there) was $0.99/lb - now it's $1.29/lb

That's where the majority increase came from - but everything went up at least some.

The primary ingredients for plastisol—PVC resin, plasticizers, and pigments—are sourced from a complex global supply chain dominated by China, and countries in Europe (mainly Germany) and Southeast Asia.

The machinery used to make the Senkos are either made overseas or the parts are made overseas.

The packaging for Senkso is, guess what?

And salt? Yup, costs more to mine/produce due to the same reasons.  Shipping? Ya, it's best to assume EVERYTHING in the supply chain is affected.

And so on, and so on, and so on.

I'd be surprised if tariffs impacted the manufacturing cost of Senkos more than a dime a bag.  I don't like paying more for anything, but I'm trusting the process.  The market keeps setting records, as I'm sure your 401k shows.  Isn't that the litmus test?  It will be interesting to revisit this thread in a year or so to see how we've all been impacted.

Edit- PVC resin is actually cheaper to buy now than it was in '24, because the price spiked early last year. (Google AI)
