Anything look familiar?

Nope, but thank you for sharing. I did see that. I actually looked at every ebay listing for traps, in hopes someone would have one listed.

No sir. The one I remember was solid white with vertical chartreuse stripes. That is a fine looking trap though.

I used chatgpt to render these pictures, that are close to what I remember the color as being. Neither of these are spot on what I remember, but I don't know how to get the image from my head into words to get chatgpt to color a trap accordingly.

Have you tried contacting Bill Lewis to see if they can identify it? If anyone would have more access to past colors that we may not have public record of, it would be them.

I didn't think of that Aaron, thanks.

Ive looked out of curiosity and I can't find one like that. Please don't let this thread die without posting a picture of it...when you find it.

@Wes H., would you be kind enough to chime in on this?

I talked to Wes from Rat-L-Trap, and he said it sounds like you're talking about "Spring Bream/Old Way" color.

I got chatgpt to render a closer picture to my memory.

These colors are pretty close I think. The pattern I'm not so sure about. But bascailly it was a white trap with chartreuse verticle pattern, could have been the spotted pattern with a vertical line at the gills.

@Glenn That doesn’t appear to be what Bazoo wanted but I think you might have sold one to me. If that had a black back that might be perfect.  Does TW sell sharpies…

edit-  argh!  That’s a retired color it seems.

I'm still not convinced that you didn't simply have a very convincing dream about this color. 😂

Is it at all possible that it was a similar style of lipless crank and not specifically a Rat-L-Trap?

@Aaron_H don't get me to doubting too, or I'll be in a heap of trouble.

I'm sure it was a Bill Lewis trap. I had several others at the time, all purchased from the bass pro catalog. Around 2000 or so.

I finally had time to look through my old traps.  I think this one is called Limon.
