^^ Which probably wasn't enough to cover his expenses. Personally I think they should change "typically forfeits" to "will forfeit"....you violate the rules at any point and you don't get paid - period.

For him, it's all about Youtube clicks. What he doesn't understand is that being popular on Youtube from clickbait is like sitting at the cool table, in the cafeteria, at the mental hospital

He drove back-and-forth from his house every day, so all he really had to cover was entry fees and fuel.
In any  case, he should’ve known better.

Love him, or hate him...he certainly has cracked the code...and is getting people to watch his videos.

Hmmmm...maybe he got DQ'd intentionally...to get more clicks.

Think About It GIF by Identity

100%. He's transitioning from bass fishing to grievance farming

I mean I haven't watched all the videos, but at some point people are probably getting too nerdy with the semantics.  Unaware, forgot, whatever... Been a while since he's made a final day so it's not something he's had to worry about.

Heck I 'know' the rule too but I guarantee you if I make the day 2 cut at a BFL Super that reminder would come in handy.  When you fish a tournament and have friends in the field too literally the first thing you do when you get off the water is start talking about the fishing...Not in an "info" sort of way just a normal, excited conversation about what was going on, how you did etc... There would be a point during that day when that would go from totally fine to getting you DQ'd

Randy puts himself out there in plenty of ways to draw legitimate criticism...So kicking him when he's down after an otherwise good tournament is a little much (IMO of course).

Nah. It's not whatever.

He changed his story. One day he forgot and then he said he was never aware of it, or vice versa. How can you forget what you aren't aware. He changed his story and was caught up in it. That's exactly what a liar does.

Semantics...But believe what you want I guess.

FWIW the people who "broke" the story saying he cheated have since reversed course and publicly apologized to him.

Doesn't effect me since it's unlikely I'll ever fish against Randy...But also FWIW I believe he told the truth and would have no qualms if we ever did end up in the same field.

I don’t think semantics quite means what you think it does ironically. After all forgetting something and not being aware of something are both clearly defined and settled universally.

I don’t think he cheated. It was a rules violation like jumping offsides. A foul. But instead of changing his story he should have just said that he screwed up and that would be it.

But of course he just can’t seem to help himself.

You are 100% correct, different words different definitions. Randy didn’t get caught cheating at all, like you basically said, a simple rules violation.

Yeaaaa I had a feeling this was gonna go this way 😂

Carry on...

I don’t follow pro bass fishing, boring and fake. I like guys like Randy, old school is still cool homey

It seems like an innocent infraction to me. You can talk all you want to the guy in 25th place but just a word to the guy in 26th gets you DQ'ed.
