I've been using Power pro Hi vis,Low Vis a year now with great success. I'm thinking to try the phantom red as well but my concern is that it will be visible especially in clear,clear to stained water.

almost true, but red doesn't disappear...its percepted as black or a shadow

as for the red power pro , i dont like it , i m a line watcher and that color is not visible enough for me. for fast moving lures ( i know u like lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits ) its fine.

Spend last weekend at the sportsman show and red power pro is flying off the shelves. Most are buying a spool and seeing how it fits there fishing.

Had one advid ice fishing guy say at 8 ft it total disappeared on his Aqu view this lake is drinking water clear. He was using the new 5lb for white fish.

I also think that our northern tanic colored lakes it might be good with red power pro. These lakes are clear and just a little darker tanic color than some florida lakes.

I've been using red power pro for the last couple months and think it's great. I've been doing great this year with it. Not sure if it's the line but it works for me. All you can do is give it a try and see what you think. You can go in the outing section and see the pics of some of the fish I have caught using this line. Only problem is after awhile it starts to turn pink.

I always tie on a 2 to 3 foot 25lb flouro leader when fishing slow moving baits with braid, so this way I do not have to worry about visibility.  Seagar carbon pro is by far the best for this applicaton, it is strong and very abrasion resistant.

I do the samething. I've been doing this for years and it works great.

why is it people laughed at cajun red cast but powerpro puts out a red line and it's great?i have been saying red was good for years and that it greys out and blends in.red cast will do this even faster than powerpro.if the braid turns pink just recolor it with a red permanet marker.

I picked up some Phantom Red tonight.  I hope it is as good as the Moss Green.  As dodgeguy stated, the magic marker is great tool to keep the line colored.
