Shipping Tubes

Featured Replies

I, like many of you have numerous shipping tubes that fishing rods were shipped in. Based on my research these things are fairly pricey. I'm thinking about posting an add on Facebook Marketplace to sell some. Not sure what to ask. Probably not in huge demand. I would help a brother out in the event he needed one for shipping/returning a rod. Not looking for a windfall, just need to get rid of a few. How much would you guys ask? Thanks.

I cut those up and use them as foam rollers 😂

I do not have a clue. Unless of course you're referring to your hair.

They burn very well in bonfires. For indoor fireplaces, stuff them with newspapers.

Hahaha. I keep them In my office at work and in my car for when I have back spasms. Foam rollers are round things you lay on and roll to stretch your back out

I can't offer any help to the OP's question, but if there are pictures with @TnRiver46 with rollers in his hair I bet a lot of folks here would pay to see something that funny. 😂

Maybe try offering to trade the tubes for lures? At least you might end up with something useful. Good luck!

I bet Uline sells them new. That’ll give you a starting point…

Not knowing what you have for tubes, but I can buy a 10’x2” pvc pipe for $15. Your tube and shipping to the buyer would need to less than or equal to that. Maybe if you could find someone local to buy.

they are the heavy-duty cardboard shipping tubes that Tackle Warehouse and others ship fishing rods in. I will tell them about your pvc pipe idea. 🤣 thanks for your response. I did cut one to size to store my arrows in. Works great.

I did that as well. I also cut and epoxied one to a flat base and now its an arrow holder/stand when I target practice.
