Anyone in here using Sunline Siglon PE AMZ x8 in the 50lb and/or 60lb? What do you like about it? What don't you like? Pros & Cons?

My old reliable Sufix 832 decided to fail on me last week and I am now frantically searching for the next braid that will potentially be my new daily driver. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a spool of Sunline Siglon PE AMZ x8 50lb green and I need some input/feedback.

There aren't that many reviews for this line online. Tackle Warehouse only has like 2 reviews and Sunline's website only has a couple reviews. Most reviews for the line are really hit or miss and offer no real help. Therefore, I am hoping there are a few guys in here who have given this line some fair amount of time with real world testing and have given it a good run for it's money.

Terrible line... Try sunline fx2 instead... Much better braid...

DEPS- if 832 is your old reliable I wouldn't be so fast to change. One failure vs old reliable I'd chalk up to a bad spool or unseen damage. Routine fails? Yeah that's coming off.

And if you absolutely have to change I'd say give 131 a look. I love 832 but 131 is even nicer. More expensive, but nicer. A little stiffer, more round, slicker.

I'll give another vote for the Sufix 131. Absolutely love that line. Handles great, quiet through the guides, easy to get backlashes out when I have operator error issues. I do wish we could get the chartreuse colour that's available overseas in the States though.

I had a few different spools of 832 a few years back that were bad and I never went back. I started using PE braid from Japan.

@DEPS_250 I would suggest another line but I'm not sure what you are going to use it for. Are you going straight braid or are you using a leader?

Not that you asked but I think maxcuatro is the best braid in terms of braids that aren’t smooth. If you need to go smooth cortkand silent braid is the sauce for all things flipping. It’s works for frogging and winding too but a little expensive for that. 131 is next followed by all the others

My bud swears by JB Line One.

FINS 40G or whatever of their lines suits your need is what I have been using for several years. It is fantastic.
