I primarily use GY senko's and due to their cost like to use them until they break or are lost. I'm wondering though, do they loose their effectiveness after using the same worm multiple cast/days?

They usually don't survive long enough for me to worry about that.

Sometimes, I'll catch 7-10 fish on the same Senko, sometimes it's only one. The only thing I notice when they start to get tore up is that they droop more from a wacky hook, but that doesn't seem to make them less effective.

As they're exposed to water they will leach and loose some salt but it's not enough to change the sink rate or action in my opinion. They will destroy hooks if left on a t rig so any weedless Senkos that survive a day are unrigged.

I have not noticed this. Is this primarily on the Delta or have you experienced this in other bodies of water?

@Big Hands Any body of water, I've even had it happen in the garage when it gets cold/humid enough to sweat salt out of baits.

Couldn't find any wrecked Senkos in the garage but this is a good example of a salt infused bait eating its hook when left rigged.

Mend-it glue has helped solve this situation for me @Randy Price , T-rigged senkos get repaired with the glue which I use as wacky rigged baits. Fish continue to bite those repaired baits and that includes other brand named worms and creature baits.

I’ve used Senkos that are torn up something bad, and I still catch fish on them.

I think they like em' a little better when they're a little chewed up. Haha
