I voted for Shimano, but I am have acquired a Daiwa Baitcaster. Only time will tell if I get more.

I also have a few Plfuegers which do not hold up in the salty to brackish water I fish ad one Quantum which may get replaced with another Symtre soon.

Toying with the thought of a japan daiwa exist in the 2506 model,but i have two stella 1000's fa's,one being brand new,watch out ebay!!!

Some of us don't make huge salaries, and yes Shimano,while being excellent reels do not give those of us in the lower end the value for the buck that Pflueger,BPS and certain Cabela's reels give. I also want to put aside they don't last as long or work as well as Shimano Products. With several years experience with the Pflueger Products, as well as several of my friends The Pfluegers have very few issues and maintaince and repair is very available.

To that list ABU is coming out with some good looking new low profile stuff that is similar to the REVO...and you can tell I voted ABU.  ;D

I voted for Daiwa spinning if only because I believe the sealed drag makes it a little better for inshore saltwater fishing as far as corrosion resistance goes.  Although my primary fising is fresh, I do make a trip to the Texas coast a couple of times a year.

Yea The Trions go on sale twice a year ( at least for the last 2 years) for 89 bucks delivered from Cabelas. The BPS extreme is always 79 bucks , the Cabelas Tournament zx is 70 bucks(Pinnacle) and thats just 3 reels with good reps and I find them reliable BECAUSE I PERSONALLY OWN AND USE THEM frequently. It's not the equiopment but the hands they are in 8-)

I like quite a few here have limited resources. That means by the grace of God I have a small alluminum boat with a trolling motor, more than one rod and reel and a decent amount of lues. I do not belong in the WHO HAVE HAS THE MOST TOYS WINS CLUB, because frankly i can't afford to be there. But those of us who search for the best dollar value we can find and still enjoy this sport are no less than those fellas who can buy all that top end stuff. I do not *** these fellas, some of them i am quite friendly with but i get the sense from some that they look down their noses at those of us who can't play in that league.

Just get one now.  If you wait 'till one of those wears out, you'll be an old man, and the only place you'll be able to find a Revo is at an antique sale.

I use Abu Garcias,Quantums,and a couple of Shimano spinning reels.I voted Abu because I have more of them(10) than the others.

My favorite for both spinning and casting is Daiwa. But I do have a few Pflueger spinning reels (Presidants) that I love, and a Quantum casting reel (Accurist) that has really surprised me, and I love to use it as well. I had some BPS Extreme casting reels, they served me well, but, I dunno, I just would rather have Daiwa.

I voted Daiwa...but I was on the fence.  still have Shimano spinning reels for now,but love the precision feel of my TD-Z's for baitcasters.....
