daiwa zillion...???

Featured Replies

i just ordered the zillion in the 7.1:1

for the guys who have used them what do they think?

I use mine for everything. Crankbaits, jigs, t-rigs, c-rigs, spinnerbaits and I even cast shakey head Ike spike with no problems.

I too have this reel and it is, IMHO, the best workhorse reel for the money.  I use it for just about anything but I like it best for lipless cranks, jerkbaits, and buzzbaits.

I love my TDZLN100SHLA!

EXTREEEEMEELY great reel. I just bought another one. My other 'zilla' was getting lonely... Very smooth and powerful. Great casting, durability and a workhorse.

You wont be disappointed.....  8-)

Solid and smooth, it is no for finesse.

i have a quantum tour edition pt in the 7.0:1 and hoping its as nice as that one (should be nicer)...

i was thinking to add some powerpro and use it for pig/jig or add some flouro for cranks...???

i like mine a lot too.  I just upgraded the drags in to Carbontex, awesome.  You can buy a set from Reel Mech, he's got the set of 4... just FYI... awesome guy

Anyways, I love it, casts great, super smooth and looks good.  I start to have trouble when I cast anything lower then 1/4 oz....

Probably just me, but my Curado 100 is better for those finesse situations.  Zillion is awesome.  Have fun with it. :)

i have 3 zillions ... i think they are sweet reels ... the best ive ever baught ,,, so far ....
