I placed my bid 4 days ago nobody else bid. I was expecting to get sniped in the last few seconds. I've been wanting to try one for a while now plus like you said it's got a $65 set of knobs. Overall a good deal.

i knew i needed a fish pic and at the very least, line on the reel in order to submit to this thread!!  too much scrutiny otherwise!!!

This one came and went without much fanfare.

I found it (again) quite by accident as an old spool I had resurface while I was looking for some backing. 

Decided to try it as a main line, been using it (secretly) for a while. 

Turns out I really like it.   

I have been able to stock up on bulk spools for a fraction of the original cost. (which was very reasonable)

It’s now my new (but old) favorite Mono.

I was a "Stren Man" back in the 1960s (when I could afford it) and used it through the 1980s.  I guess it's been off-the-radar for me since then though.

Yea - I really like to change out the mono quite frequently and while in the Mexican waters, it's every chance I get.
