About that time! Got a Met XG and Alde HG on the way, will post pics when I get them in!

 

some people hate on it, but I actually like the unpainted zaion finish on the T3B. I wish they would've made the side plate match, but at least it matches the drag star. I got it to better balance my glass tatula and it worked out great. Sweet setup. And since I got an sv1000 spool for my T3, the 1016 found a home in this reel. Now my t3 is freed up for a dedicated BFS setup. Bye bye, spinning reel!

Sweet combos.. I just got a Zodias 7'2H and have the Chronarch mounted on it, going to use it for 10 inch Jackal Flickshakes and see how it goes.

I will have the money for that rod very soon. My only problem is convincing myself that spending $600 on a rod is a sane thing to do. I keep telling myself that we only live on Earth once and I can't take my fun money with me and as long my bills are paid, I might as well get the best bass rod that Shimano makes so we'll see.

^^ I see no problem with your theory. If you can afford it, why not. Like ya said, you can't take it with you when you leave.

That reel looks barely used!

Thanks Jrob! The reel has been used but not abused. That happens to be its "good side". It has a few marks on the top of it and a few on the side plate. Overall not too bad. It is going to need to be serviced. I will toss in some carbontex washers, bearings, faster gears, and a new handle and knobs.
