These two reels are my babies, and I don't know if I could ever let them go. First is a custom painted zillion 100sha with a hawgtech 102mm handle, wormshaft bearing upgrade, Boca orange seals, zillion coastal spool, shimano septum knobs, carbontex drags, and blue accents mounted on a 6'6" HXF Daiko karisma stick. Second is a stock px68 mounted on a 6'10" m-f elite tech smallmouth, awesome setup for light Texas rigs and weightless plastics.

Love that combo! My XG Limited is on the shelf awaiting it's bfs rod to come in from Japan.

Finally got this TDZ 100m aquistion figured out for the time being. Sticking it on a Kistler Helium 3. I will get some outfit photos up later and some photos of the reel in better light.

Are those knobs black or gunmetal? I bought gunmetal knobs because I did not think that they made black but your knobs look darker than mine.

Yea there dark black. There the older zpi knobs. I had the gunmetal knobs on my bfs xg. They look good on alot of reels, pretty nuetral color. Look real nice on the alde mg7.

This combo has me playing favorites. Need more steezs in my life.

Yup - now you just need to add some fish slime...

Spent essentially 4 straight days throwing a jerkbait for a tournament last weekend...This combo is so good for jerkbait fishing it makes it even more fun.  We had 20-30mph winds, heavy rain, and temps in the upper 30's/low 40's for the entire tournament, so I took very few pictures...But but the few I did take turned into some fish/rod/reel show-off pics .  (Those jumbo perch were disappointing during the tournament, but fun at least).

I just got a 1500-7 a few weeks ago myself. I gotta say this thing slings a 3/8 to 1/2 bait a mile! Loving it, I'm sure you will love it too.

The 1000 xt was my first shimano, I have moved it to my Jerkbait rod and throw all sorts of small to mid size hardbaits. It's on a Medium Light Mod fast and I will throw 1/8 bill lewis, pop-x or rapala FO7s, definitely a great reel for any hard baits.

Due to a mix up in shipping I didn't get it until today. I'll post a pic when I'm home from the gym with a 6.5oz reel. Should be right on the foregrip.
