Fishing was pretty good yesterday. Found fish relating to creek channels where it would swing in close to a hump or flat. Fish seemed to be ganged up. Caught a couple on top water and worm but most came on a 1/4 oz slab spoon on the drops. Ended up with about 30 with probably 18 keepers. Biggest was 4lbs. Fished housen and San Miguel.

Bryan, ya do better south or north?

Numbers were north but the better fish were south. Can't figure them out after the morning bite. So that's when I head north lol.

Went wednesday caught 15-20 fish on cranks evening bite. Went from 2 till dark saturday caught round 30 fish biggest two was 7.11 and 6.04 on a jig in 12-14 ft water. Biggest 5 went 25 lbs. with not much grass around makes fishing alot of fun.

Nice job! Congrats! I had a great trip three weekends ago. That's why it's killing me to miss two weekends in a row.

Shad color cranks with creek bendin on a flat.

Had a great day in the bend today. Caught 40 to 50 on spoons and football jigs. Most in 12-15 fow. Best one was pushing 7. These fish are gorging on shad. Fat as footballs.

Never had much luck with spoons. Any enlightenment would be much appreciated...

I have better luck with 1/2 oz slab spoons. It's all about the bait. They seem to hit the spoon when they won't hit anything else. creek channels that come close to the edge of flats is where I'm doing my damage. Hard bottom is key.
