Well, I fished from 6 p.m. to 2:00 a.m thursday/friday.  Caught a total of 9 and missed 12 more on 12" black/blue worms.  Had a little over 20lbs with 7lbs being the biggest.

Hey guys I'm at Indian Creek thinking about doing some nite fishing. Anybody wanna tag along? I fished hard this afternoon without much luck.. my wife caught a nice one though on big bites version of a fluke.

ATX I would love too, but Im 2 hours away!  Get in 10-15 ft of water and throw a 12" worm...you will catch some good fish tonight with the full moon!

I fished a few humps/brakes around W 31.23495 W 93.65083 for a few hours from 4pm to 8pm, caught 22 all on C-rig, nothing big but still had fun, caught a 2-7 Kentucky bass! Anyone fishing at night?

Fished under the super moon Sunday with daughter and son-in-law. Was given info that there fish on brush piles off of bluffs and points at Kites. Fished for four hours and were able to get four keepers and a couple throw backs. Biggest was a three pounder. This was my first fishing trip using my new found knowledge from this thread. Hopefully many more to come.

I will be back next Wed-Saturday.  I will probably fish early, late, and at night.  If yall see a white/black/red Puma w/250 ProXS come by and say hello.  Ill be staying at Cypress Bend and will probably fish around Lowes to Housen most of the time.

How did you do?

Catt when you say 944, are you referring to just the area where 944 enters the lake?

Indian Mounds this am, caught 9, 5-4, 4-2 and a few smaller fish all on a c-rig with a watermelon/red flake daminki kiaser. I hit 944 too, but really couldn't find the spot, how far from thenisland and the boat lane is the road bed?

Im heading up there at 330 today!  Will be mostly fishing nights till Saturday, but will fish a little daylight too.  Hoping to catch a dd this time around.  Had a buddy catch 2 studs (8+) last night!

Called it a night early tonight.  Fished till 1 with only 1 fish to show for it.  She was a solid 4lber, but it was slow tonight, hoping it picks up tomorrow.  And Cooyahn73, thats a good sack!

Bull Creek

Went out Tuesday night for 4 hours caught a 6-2 lber  and 3 other nice fish . Wednesday lost one at the boat bigger than  the 6-2 and caught 4 other nice keepers. Fishing at night on recon rage tail worm in 15 foot of  water on main lake points around Kite's Landing as advised by the Master (CATT) . Thanks sir for sharing your knowledge of this great lake and this fine sport we call fishing.

Got on the water at 3:00 this morning and fished till 11:00.  Caught ZERO fish in the dark and didnt put the first fish in the boat till 9:30.  Got on a school of spots and 14" LMB and caught about 30.  Went back from 2-5 this evening and caught 13 fish, top 5 weighed a little over 19lbs.  Had 7 fish over 3.5lbs.  All on a football jig in 28 FOW on mainlake ridges.  Might fish out there again tonight...

If you can follow the creek to the back of 944 or in 6-Mile west of the bridge ya might get your line stretched.

 

Recon Worm?

You guys are killing me with all this fishing!!!!!! My trolling motor is broke and I haven't been fishing at all here lately! But the camp is coming along good! Got the new trailer coming in at the end of the month, the old one is coming out as well. its a 2 bedroom 1 bath, im trying to get 2k for it, its located at toledo bend near six mile if anyone is interested, it needs a little work but is a good camp, i wanted a second bathroom... CATT don't catch all my fish in six mile!!!!

No, Catt can't get away from work . Have been studying my maps and can't wait to get out there and apply my new found knowledge. Let's keep this thread going, to many have learned  so much valued info. Again , thanks Catt and all contributors.  I have learned more about fishing in three months from this thread than I have in forty years previously.

I had the good fortune to take Cajunpapi fishing this past week on July1 thru 2 night fishing.

He was able to apply what he had study and what was picked up from all the threads in your article.

The trip was well worth a few hook sets in couple of six pounders and the eight # that got away.

Keep up the good work and maybe Cajunpapi will catch that 10+ he is looking for.

 

Cajunpapi put me on your site and I the same plan to learn how to fish after 40 years of fishing the shallows and small drops at Toledo Bend.

Fished yesterday am.......caught 12 on a C-rig in 18-25 fow, nothing big, but most were nice fish, caught 3 nice k-bass too. SE wind started blowing hard and I went to the house!

I got a foot control bow mount Motor Guide Tour Edition 109 it's used, but still a pretty good TM.  I put a Minn Kota on my boat. I'd be willing to part with it for a couple hundred bucks if interested.

d**n just bought a new motorguide! wish i would have checked the forum a little earlier........o well i got a 75 lb thrust for $533 and when the minn kota gets repaired im gunna sell it so im not out that much money.......why did you move to minn kota ive never had anything but problems....maybe just my luck?

I moved from Motorguide to Minnkota for a few reasons.  MK comes through grass ALOT easier.  MK is quieter, and I like the graphite shaft.  Motorguide is a good trolling motor, but I rather MK.
