You need a life jacket and winds less than 20mph. Get there at 7 and sign in. Go get in line and play follow the leader with the rest of the crowd.

Is their any admission fee?

Here are some pictures and the video from the giant I caught at LaCygne this weekend. She weighed 10 ls 15 oz and released to fight another day.

Fished LaCygne Sunday- I started up lake and noticed quite a few boats in the river section. I pitched flooded brush and water willows for a while ending up with one fish about 2lbs.

No. Wind and weather look great, so it's going to be packed I'm sure. The guys told me they had over 40 boats the day it was nice a couple weeks ago. That's over 40 boats fishing 20 acres in the warm water.

Well it will be an experience at least

Fishing the cold water is always an option too, and sometimes it's better fishing too.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the help

Had a pretty stellar day on the water with this guy again today. Three lakes that will make up two separate videos. Keep an eye out, should be pretty good! He'll be back early next week too.

Bet that was a fun double!!!!

I'm looking into going fishing tomorrow.

Either La cyne, lone Star, or melvern.

I'm not super great at cold water fishing yet but am trying it more and more.

Recommendations on which lake?

Wind is supposed to be hovering around 8-10 for the fisrt half of the day.

Melvern and report back!

Don't waste your time at Lone Star or LaCygne. Go to Melvern. Fish slow. Then fish slower.

The three lakes we hit this week (<600 acres & in the SE part of the state)

ranged from 43*- 47*.... Not bad for the start of Feb.

Jerk-baits & drop-shots produced.

La Cygne was tough today but I was really limited where I could fish. I'd look for a small lake with lots of fish. Melvern is going to be really cold still.

Go to wolf and if you get blown off go to melvern

We started off the day around 8 and boy was it slow.  Beat the banks for a while with nothing to show for it then we moved off shore and it was game on!  Solid bass with bonus slabs.

Went to lake of the ozarks yesterday and caught a couple decent fish. Didn't catch a ton but the ones we did catch slammed a megabass 110 plus 1

Hopefully Ondreijka gets something out of Flair's channel for his business but I wish he would hook up with JonB, Uncut Angling, PewdiePie or anyone but Flair; he is just awful.

Lol, thanks. Although I really don't care about getting anything out of it. I keep plenty busy. I like the exposure and we always put out good content. He's fun to fish with. Guiding, having a lot of different people in the boat I'm used to characters. I'd love to do something with Aaron/Uncut. Those are my dudes.

Same deal for us, all our fish on the 110+1. Buddy I was with didn't want to head up the gravois and deal with other boats :/ so we stuck mostly to main lake stuff around the dam. Decent numbers of spots and largemouth but only one over 18". Marked some good fish over deeper brush but couldn't raise em, I'm sure the A rig boys did well.

Does anyone here fish Critzer Lake by Mound City?  Just curious if anyone could offer any insight and if its a good cold water lake?  Thanks!
