I got my Rapala News E-Mail today. I'll be the first in line, but I heard they won't be available until June. That means my BPS won't have them until August.

I just noticed that the Rapala X-Rap Shad has some similarities to this lure:

Just to let you guys know that I was at the BPS in Ft. Lauderdale earlier this morning as I was sifting through the clearance baskets I noticed this guy adding some shelves with some Rapala packages.  Sure enough, they were these new Shad Raps..

I picked up 4 @ $6.99 each (not too bad): Purpledescent, Gold, Hot Steel and Yellow Perch.  The detail/quality is superb.

I will be giving these a try this weekend for Largies and Peacocks and will fill you guys in then...

I like them a lot too, it is rarely that I fish without one already rigged. In my waters the size # 8 is by far more productive. My best color are Hot Steel and White

I'll probably get some, but in the video, the action didn't seem very much like the X-rap, it didn't dart around nearly as much as an x-rap does, it looked more like a husky jerk or something.

There will definately be some in the box ASAP!
