My name is Tony. I got my name from a former co-worker that called me Big T, I am not sure why he did that because I am only about 5'10". Anyway it kind of stuck. It actually got modified last summer, because I was moved up to the very large tanks at work, these tanks held 55,000 pounds of liquid coating each. Then they called me Big Tank Tony, but as I no longer work there I am still Big T.

Pretty obvious, wouldn't you say?

Nope, I dont see "rude" in your name anywhere? ::)

Just asked for an explanation.....

Sorry, in a grumpy mood today. >:(

It doesn't really have a story with it. I was joining a boat repair/restoration forum, and I needed a handle. I am a bass fisherman, and a male, so that fits. I just threw a one on there for the heck of it. It stuck on all the rest of the forums to, as I can't remember more than one anyway.

Dont worry about it, it happens.   ;)

Thanks for all the replies fellas (I didnt see any of the ladies post  :o )

I always like reading some of the ways people got their names.

Been bass fishing and owned a boat since the day I turned 18. My father signed for my first boat and I paid him back every month. Love the competition and trying to win a few dollars. My first boat was a 14ft. Duckhawk with front stick steering and a 40hp mercury. Man, we thought that was fast. Friends of mine owned Doyle English marina on Toledo Bend and helped me a lot on my fishing knowledge. I was there every weekend for it seemed like years.

Just my initials and my birthday...kind of boring huh?

My name, with initials for first (Eddie), middle and last name followed by my anniversary - August 22.  That's all.

When I retired from everything a couple of years ago, I went out fishing on a little pond behind the house and caught a 5 lb lmb.  That was it for me - that fish gave me a new reason to live.

This year The Big Girl and I bought a lakeside cabin a few miles north of where we live on Oxbow Lake.  Since I only fish for bass, the lake and the fish combo seemed appropriate.

Hoover is the name of my 110 lb. yellow lab.  He eats like a vacuum.  ;D

TI is for Thousand Islands witch is what they call the region of New York that I live in and part of the St. Lawrence River and just put Bassin after it.

Hey Speedbead, I bought a few of those. Why would you take a name after a bait that comes with pink skirts? Atleast everyone I ever saw came with a pink skirt with an extra white one ;D

Lol, I see you live in PA. One of my buddies from Washington won the Bassmaster Jr. World Championship in Pittsburgh with on a Strike King 1/4 oz. double willow with a pink skirt. He was paired with KVD, and KVD told him to tell everyone when he was on stage that it was purple not pink so no one would throw one come Classic time. He won by 4 ounces with a whopping 1 lbs. 6 ounce smallie  ;D

mine is a drunken, made up, nonsense word. the term was coined while my buddy and I were out running his desert style bronco. we were in no shape to be driving and came to an obstacle that we could not get past in 2 wheel drive, he said "looks like we'll have to lock her into fourbizzle" it was riotously funny at the time and for whatever reason, stuck.

looks like "TIN2WIN" has changed his name to something that more accurately describes his IQ.

I'm in the insurance business and used to do alot of whitewater canoeing and kayaking. Hence the "risk" kid. Came up with the name as a screen name and e-mail name a number of years ago.

When I first joined this site, I was a self proclaimed "senko master"...wow how wrong I was.  ;D

The 77 was Ray Borques number.  He was the Boston Bruins Captain and was traded to the Avalanche where he won the Stanley Cup after 21 years in the NHL.  His hard work and determination is what I have always tried to imitate in anything I do.  He is who I consider one of my heroes.

I am a Land Surveyor with my own business. The name of my company is Associated Land ProfessionalS with the last S capitalized. In my logo which includes a mountain range the A.L.P.S. stands out hence Alpster. Also, it was the only screen name on the internet that wasn't already taken over 10 years ago. LOL
