CGH = Computerguyhouston

I have a knack for resurrecting computers that repair shops say have seen their better days.

Floods, Lighting Stricks, hammer blows from x-wives etc.....

I start off on here as Computerguyhouston till one of the senior members blasted me as a computer guy so I shortened it to CGH

Everywhere else on the net I'm CGH, Computerguyhouston

I'm 6'3" tall, but when I'm lying down, I'm just as long as I am tall.  Hence, Long Mike.

I am using a view of what a bass sees as he/she attacks a crawfish.

I also love to eat crawfish.

My license plate says CRAWFSH.

Crawfish are the happiest animals on the planet. They get their tails pinched and their heads sucked.

Well, long story short. Every time we fish and we see a big one, I call out " MOBYDICK IS BACK!" And there is a big smallie in the area we fish, his name, mobydick. So............... now, i'm mobydick!

Mine actually has two meanings the original stands for

Cajun

Anglers

Tournament

Tackle

Because I use to make custom tackle for local anglers who didn't have sponsors but I believed on their talent.

It also just happens to stand for

Carol

And

Thomas

Thibodeaux

I used the name Rocket Scientist as a CB handle for years. I dont do CB radio anymore and have moved into the ham radio side of things where you are assigned a set of call leters you identify with. I was in search of a board name for a copier tech website several years ago and decided on Rocket Psyantist with the intention of mispelling scientist.  I chose to spell it that way just to make a common name different. So when I decided to join this disscussion board I chose Fishin Psyantist. Im employed as a Ricoh office machine technician. A ham radio operator, and a wanabee bass fisherman by hobby, and maintain a low power television station for my church in my spare time between hobbies. I am in no way an intellectual, thick eye glass wearing, weird minded, wild grey haired,

highly educated person my screen name may make some think that I am or may be. The screen name is just a name not indicative of anything,,,,,,,,,,,really. Well,,, I used to assemble and fly the Estes Rockets sold here at the local Hobby Lobby.  ::)If you havent tried these they are alot of fun, especially for the kids.

Well, uh... my name's Jake, and, I put a "The" in front of it.  :-?

Back in '97 I bought my first sports car, and taking a good buddy for a ride I was redlining every gear to merge onto the freeway.

Exactly how we train to do it at UPS  ::) ;D

Low Budget Hookers- The whole story has been typed out a few times but in short, we get it done with value based products, and small boats.

First origin was from a Striper tournament that we won for the 2nd yr in a row from a 16 ft jon boat.  We were up against 25 ft center consoles on avg but the key was that the big fish were in the estuaries so while everyone in their big expensive boats went on a $200 I mean a 2 hr run to fish deep, we went around the corner, up the river and sat on a hole made by the current wash of a channel marker that happens to fill up with lots of fish.  None over 25-27 lbs but 2 of those can win it sometimes.

:)

The craziest thing though is that the 2nd yr,our fish were caught on shad bodies.  NO fancy finish, no hollow body tube, no $75 for 6 on ebay price tag, just a shad body with a paddle tail.  All white, not even an eye painted on.  Go figure...........Low Budget baby

BaitMonkey friggin hates me.

RWHusker: My first and middle initiial and then the team I spend my time following.  Only game in town in Nebraska.

Mine is the genus name for Black Bass.

;DIt's my name

Just my last name :P, John Schaefer if you really wanna know ;)

I was working for 2 places for the last 20 years or so and finally decided to concentrate on 1 job and do some fishing. Found a house on a small (1000 acre) lake near a small town and decided I would stay here forever.

About 3 months later I got "downsized" after 20 years and was left with 2 months to find work. I was looking at a review of my credentials by an interviewer and his take on me was "Chemist - 53". Did find a job that takes about 1 3/4 hours one way but I am still living on a lake and plan to make that drive till I find something closer.

On the plus side I can be in my boat and on the water fishing in 7 minutes from my door.

Have learned a lot from the forum, thanks guys.

I been a bass fishin fool for a long time.

Back up North, New York that is, a guy once said

"You are the most avid fisherman i ever met"

Name sorta stuck.   I don't see em anymore, but guys in the area called me that for years.

My old stage name 8-)  ;D

Actually, LBH used to have names for his go to jigs.  The Rocky ledge finesse was called Dirk the Jig-Lure.  I adopted it from there.

My buddy from Colorado makes fun of my accent and calls me Texas boy alot and it popped into my head while registering for these forums. I was gonna use Imthatguyuknow which is almost all of my screen names and other accounts but i decided to change it up a bit.

got it at the motorcycle club, everybody knows me by it.

let's just say I still have the scar and leave it at that ;D...
