Sebile Lures- Magic Swimmer

Featured Replies

I have just recently purchased the 3/4 oz Magic Swimmer by Sebile.  I tested the action and it looked great.  I was just wondering, have any of you used them and had any success with them?  Thanks in Advance.

I use them and I can tell you that you won't like them at all. Just pack them up and send them to me and I will take care of them.  :)

J.K.

They are great. You can burn the crap out of them and the don't roll on their side. They catch fish to.

Quick !!!! Throw that hump-backed, jointed piece of fish catching junk away before your hooked ! There will be an occasion when you shouldn't throw it...but you will anyway!

yeah they are 14.99 for the 5 inch and 19.99 for the 7 inch. i really want one of these baits, but im not sure im ready to drop that much cash on one lure.

Will, did they have the 7 incher at the store?

The lure is deadly on big bass (big smallies too) and all pike. Fantastic bait. Worth every penny.

Thanks for the input guys.   I'm glad that you have had success with them, so the 15.99 wasn't a waste.  Dave, I'm not sure if they had the 7in. but i was in a hurry so i didn't look to good.

I bought a Sebile Magic Swimmer 125. I haven't caught any fish with it, but I'm sure I will. It has very nice action!

I bought all 3 sizes while at the classic & got to use them this past week. I am here to tell you they catch l/m bass.  The size I have done the best on is the 3/8 oz. (3 1/2 in.) It is a fun bait to fish, I hardly ever put it down. When they hit they slam it.

I was told that it is an excellent Striper bait also but I have not tried that yet.

I bought 2 today at Dicks Sporting Goods. They only had 2 sizes I got one each, I also was lucky to have a 25% off coupon. Hope they work.

X2 picked up the perch pattern. Swim great at a medium or fast retrieve and look awesome when burning them just under the surface. Lookks just like a baitfish V and all! :)

Not so good at slow speeds. :)

I've been fishing the 3/8, 3/4, and 1 1/2 oz. My bassing skills are on the low end of the curve, and I'm catching a lot of fish with these lures. Even if I'm not catching I'm having fun with these suckers just watching them move. I've had a lot of hits using a slow retrieve followed by a twitch. Deadstick it and it starts pulling a 180. The longer body of the 3/4 oz. has, IMO, a more fluid and natural motion than the 3/8. I think it's also more natural moving than the 1 1/2 lure, too.

In the hands of more experienced folks this bait must be a killer.

Anyone have a video of the action on these? done a couple searches and can't find anything

Hey guys, we can get these. If you need some of the Sebile baits let me know which bait and color and we can probably help, and save you money.

We are planning to add this line to our site so a custom order is not a big deal.

Am thinking of getting a few to try for myself but have not seen them first hand.

They have a variety of colors some that don't look like the bait fish I'm used to seeing for bass (Threadfin, Gizzard, Blue Back Herring, etc). What's been the most productive color and size in this bait for LM and spots?  IM me if it's easier but I'd be the other guys would like to know also. Thanks.

I put two over 4lbs in the boat yesterday using a Magic Swimmer. They are awesome.

Check out last month's bassmaster...two of the three tournament results featured at the back of the magazine were won using a Magic Swimmer.  It's the hottest bait going...
