The $2.8 million for the Bug is just the entry fee.  Service, tires, and repairs will run you a ridiculous amount above that.  I think the tires alone run in the $50k range. 

The Aero SSC is a great car....but have you seen the replacement thats coming?  Its nuts....

I'd rather have a mid 80s Porsche 930, a new truck, a boat, a black lab named Sally, and a house. I would take the other 2 million and invest it.

I'd buy a few new boats with 2.8 Mill. Nice new bass boat. I'd replace my older offshore boat with something larger, maybe something in the 42-50 foot range with a ridiculously large fuel capacity. A vacation house up near Okeechobee would work also. Everything else would go to the kids college fund and investments.

Oh, and an old bottle of Ron Zacapa Centenario. Not the new blend.  Mmmm.

I have a feeling that someone in my household would spend it for me.  :-X

I just make sure everything was paid for invest a little, sit back and enjoy the simple life, leave a little to those I leave behind. Hey you can't take it with you but that doesn't mean I can't help someone else along the road of life.

Now you're talking. On about 500 acres, with maybe a little cabin, ~5000 sq.ft. I'd need enough room for the grandkids.  8-) I may need a little more cash... :-/
