anybody here use Twitter??? I'm starting to use it for work and thought I would see if any fellow BR members use it as well.

I signed up for an account last summer and the first time I ever used it was also the last. I probably didn't give it a fair shot, but I couldn't get into it.

I don't compose tweets because there is no need to and nobody is following me (<--- I know I'm a loner haha) but really, Twitter has taken place of the news for me.

Yes, but only for public outreach for a science project I run. It's a good way of reaching out to a broader audience. For my own personal needs I just find there's too much "noise" on there. Plus I spend too long online as it is, and my own life is far too dull to impose my daily ritual on the world by tweeting it!

What a lot of people mistake twitter for is a blog which it is not. Twitter is a quick way of getting information out to a lot  of people fast not notifying your 5 friends that your picking your nose.
