Favorite Color For Fat Ika?

Featured Replies

I plan to buy a pack or 2 of Fat Ikas soon, cause all I have so far is black w/light blue flk (which doesn't seem to good of a color for NJ) What are some popular colors for the Ika?

a sort of watermelon color was most successful for me. Haven't used them too much lately though. I would imagine the black and blue flake could be good though, I had success with that color in spidergrubs at least...

I think black is a great color in NJ, I use it a lot with success. I also have a bag of chartrues, just to test my color choice every now & then. I would stick to darker colors. JMHO

021, 194J, 208 & 297 or as far as I'm concerned, anything "dark."

I've only been able to find Kinami's, but my best producing colors are watermelon with a chart. tail and watermelon christmas flake.  I also have some luck with junebug.

Green Pumpkin Black Flake

Black with Blue Flack

Firetiger

My favorite Ika color is Dark Pumpkin w/Large Black Flake.

I also like Black and Green Pumpkin w/black flake.

Green Pumpkin/Black Flake

If you do own any soft plastic baits in this color, then you are not a true bass fisherman.   ;)

Brad,

Did you mean to type in "If you don't own...?"

I am probably with the majority here. I generally fish darker colors and some darker natural colors. Christmas Tree, Black/Blue, Black Red, Green Pumpkin, etc. ect.
