The best that I have ever used is Bass Pro 100 mph gortex.  It is the only stuff I have ever been able to keep dry wearing.  It is not for warm weather wear by the way.

They must be changing styles because I saw some in the catalog store at 1/2 price yesterday.

I have had Bass Pro 100MPH for 5 or 6 years and they have performed very well.  You can always catch them on sale around the end of February thru the first of April.  Usually 25-30% off.

I disagree with the comment on Frogg Toggs.  I've had a set now for about 5 years or so, and have never gotten wet while wearing them.  I've tried rubber, PVC, and nylon rain suits and while most of them kept me pretty dry, they were stifling to wear when it was warmer than 70F outside.  The Frogg Toggs breathe with the slightest breeze and keep me comfortable when its 90+ degrees and raining and I don't feel like getting drenched.  And if it's colder out, they are roomy enough to wear over my regular cold weather gear.   Definitely not a bad product for the price.

i love gortex stuff idk how expensive they are since the airforce pays for mine..but i do suggest them. thats all i wear in the rain.

Frog toggs are good for the boat or bank, but will tear easily in the woods if snagged on a branch.

I got frogg toggs for xmas and they are the best.  Lightweight and breathable.  You can were them in a Fl summer storm and not be wet from sweat.

One vote for the TOGGS here.

My wife gave me a set of Columbia's about ten years ago. They are still performing flawlessly.

Dropped some cheddar on Cabela's Guidewear. Can't wait to fish in the rain. Does that sound weird?

Thanks for all the input

I agree with bassyak, I love my Toggs!!!  Very breathable to!

Have a Gore-Tex experience and that will change real quick ;)

North Face, all day-every day.  When it comes to rain gear, there's no skimping.  If you are uncomfortable or wet, you won't want to fish.  I fish in every wet condition possible so I only use the best.

The Cabela's guide wear is a great value too.  A bit bulky for my taste (being thin, I prefer a fitted garment) but you can't beat the bang for your buck.

Frogg toggs or anything made with pvc,...not for me.
