If there are some who don't drink. Don't worry. You're not alone.

Yep, not a kegger.  Just a great group of people.

Everyone will have a good time, however you choose to do it.

I got it.  I was joking too. ;D  I used to get my fill, but the last few years I just don't care too much about drinking anymore.

George Dickel #8 and I are old friends.  Not #12, that's rocket fuel.  I'm sure Fluke's brother has experimented with it in one of them their rocket engines.

Oh well, too bad you'll be spending the week with uncool dinky me. 8-)

It looks like I will be able to make it for monday/tuesday/wednesday, and leave thursday sometime due to school.

Is everyone already paired up for rooms?  Anyone wanna split a room cost with me?  PM me and we can talk it out.

That is great Kelley. I'm glad things worked out for you this year. You were missed last time.... It won't be long now.

Awesome Kelley!!!

Y'all think 10 dozen nightcrawlers will be enough for the week?

Hope fivebass's boat has room for 10 Zebco 33's and a couple of barbie poles for skipping docks.

I'm bringing my snoopy rod again this year. It should be prime time for Crappie and I am planning on spending one afternoon with my Ultralight and a bucket of 5 or 6 dozen minnows.  :)

  • Super User

Fluke, no chance you'll take me with you?  I am hoping to get a dose of crappie fishing,  someone familiar would help.

  • Super User

Y'all can have all those crappie you want.  I caught one last year at Guntersville on a Rattle Trap and thought I had a bass, it was 17-18" long.   :o

I'll fit as many people that I safely can in my boat. I'm sure it won't be the only boat that heads out to do that. I know that if I announce it there will be a convoy headed to the shallows. lol There's not many things better than a big school of crappie and a bunch of friends to share it with.  :)

Average size around here is 10-12 inches.  I'm lookin' for real crappie!

That's the size they are around here. Can you imagine the look on my face when I first saw the size of that one at Guntersville? I didn't weigh it but I think it went at least 2.5 - 3 lbs.

Wow! :o  That's insane.

Um slabs. Send a mess of those back with Burley for me.   ;)

Wow  those are great - Those caught in GA?

Those are some nice ones Fluke. They're plenty of slabs in both lakes here. Usually easy to catch that time of year.

I am happy to announce that I will be attending this years Kentucky Lake trip. The room was booked yesterday and the check went into the mail today. I look forward to meeting everyone and making new friends. I will have a seat available on my boat if anyone should need it. I will be traveling from michigan and have 2 seats available in my explorer if anyone needs a ride along the way. There is no doubt in my mind that this will be an awesome time. See you in April. -Jim Grouch
