I plan on going to Indian River on Sunday.  Like Gene if I am on big fish I will stay on Ky the rest of the week but if not I am game for Indian River on Thursday.   I may look over the Devil's Elbow area of Barkley also.

I have a boat that has an open seat for most of the week Firefightn15 and I are gona pair up for a few days. So any expierianced anglers who dont mind riding on a 14'ft 79 boat and are willing to teach me a little Id appriciate it.

Im hoping to lern more by going on this trip as i only know a few things that do work at the momnent.

You should have seen last year at Guntersville.  It was an every night thing.

I know you were at the Fork trip (maybe both?), but I think it has gotten better since then (if you can imagine that  LOL)

Best advice is going to be staying as far away from where Burley is fishing.  Fish size is relative to the amount of distance between his boat and yours.

Typically the pairings seem to have just fallen into place.  From what I saw last year, most of the arrangements were made at the previous night's dinner.

If you want someone in your boat, there will be people there.  Hell, I probably can't teach you anything but I am more than willing to fish that place with anyone.

We will definitely do that. We will also use that time to make sure everyone has a boat to fish out of the next day.

I was giving my jigs a pep talk last night. They are super stoked about KY lake. Id love to see some high water. I know im not the only one that talks to my tackle. i frickin cant wait.

Pitchinkid thats just wierd...

I just put my swimbaits in my daughters aquarium and force them to practice! Keeps them in line! got to be strict and enforce them to catch bass talking to them they will just be scared when they see a fish!

Now i need to go armor them with Gama's!

I just got to thinking.  Do the rooms have any sort of mini fridges in them?  The only reason I ask is I had hoped to bring some crappie back and I'm not sure what to do with them.  Wonder if the lodge has any sort of freezer accomodations for guests?

I know I am, but at your age the strange sensation is probably somthig else .  I'm going to have to quit going to the site to see if my name has been added to the atendee list.  Everytime I see its still 50 whatever days away I get depressed.  It sound so much closer when you say April 5th.
