Dave's reports are usually good because it is info coming from the locals. He does help his sponsors out a little.

I will be posting reports here once it gets closer to time.  

I just got to thinking. Do the rooms have any sort of mini fridges in them? The only reason I ask is I had hoped to bring some crappie back and I'm not sure what to do with them. Wonder if the lodge has any sort of freezer accomodations for guests?

If not I hope that live well is working well.   ;D

RW on Sun., Ghotti on Mon., that Burley fella on Wed.  Back seat open on Tue and Thurs.

I guess I will fish with Pitchinkid and Speedbead most of the week unless I end up on FiveBass's boat one day.  I don't have to fish on it, I just want to touch it. ;D

Great news!!  I knew you couldn't stand it.  Maybe see if we can schedule a convoy for that Saturday.

I was given an extra week of vacation last week by the boss, and if we have a really wet spring like last year and people are not planting crops I am going to try and drive down Friday night and come back Wednesday.  I will not know until a few days before, and am not making any plans other than sleeping in my truck and meeting some of the people but my review Friday gave me some hope as far as making it.  Unfortunately I wont partake in the dinner if I make it because I dont want to register for something I am not sure of.  Either way a couple inches of rain the first week of April would be nice!

Thanks for pickin me up on Mon Cart7t....I also want to offer up that I have a double room so have space for someone there....PM me.

Just a reminder that The FEBRUARY 5TH deadline for booking a room has passed.

ALL ROOMS THAT WERE BLOCKED OUT FOR US HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC. You may still find a member with a room to share or another hotel/campground in the area. There may still be rooms available at KenLake Park, they are no longer guaranteed. Please check with Vicky at Ken Lake before you look elsewhere.

We will accept registrations until March 1. Room reservations are no longer guaranteed by the Park. You may still be able to get a room/campsite by contacting Vickey at KenLake Park. Failing that, send a PM to myself or LongMike and we will try to help you find a member with a room to share. There are also other hotels and campgrounds in the area that may be able to accommodate you.

March 1, is a hard deadline for registration as we will need a firm headcount to make arrangements for the members who are signed up.

Were in the 40 something days now.  It seems far enough away as it is.  Quit adding time to it.

47 days 15 hours.

He's just adding a couple of days so he's got time to finish his boat by the time Kenlake rolls around!

SPECIAL REQUEST FOR THOSE BRINGING BOATS

For those of you who are bringing your boats and still have empty seats, I am requesting that you do not fill them until we get to the lake.  Several people have voiced concerns about whether or not they need to make "reservations" with a boater ahead of time.  Let's give the non boaters a chance to move around and meet new people.

If anybodys needs a tent or air matress or anything comping related,PM me or let me know sometime. I have around 3 or 4 tents that fit 1-8 people, so anybody camping just give me a shout,

P.S. to tent campers, you may want to bring extra tarps, nothing worse than a wet tent.
