Does anyone know if it is a dry county?

I haven't been to KY lake in 30 years but it was back then. Which meant you could drink alcohol on private property but not public. A beer in your hand while standing in your boat better not be there when you step onto a public dock.

I have a funny story about that I'll relay down at the lake.

BTW, mailing my form and money to Alpster today.

Glad to hear so many people are coming! This is shaping up to be a great event!

It IS a dry county. But public drinking laws are loosely enforced, if at all.  Closest "wet" country (where you can buy beer, wine, etc) is 40 mins away.

I remember there used to be a lot of last chance liquor stores on the way out of Paducah.

5bass, you're 15 minutes away in your boat. Cost you mo $$$ though!

Call me crazy, but I foresee a lot of beer runs.  That or several very large coolers in AJ's camper.

BS aside, I will be towing my boat down to KY.  I drive a Suburban, so my boat and truck will have plenty of room.  If any of you folks who are flying in need a "care" package (cough, cough) just let me know.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there Yet? ..... How bout now?

Gonna be good seeing you and the wife again Gary.  I with you bud, getting real impatient here too.  I stopped and looked at my local lake today, (Stonewall Jackson) and the ice was still about 3 inches thick.  Gonna take a while for that to melt. :-[

There is a liquor/high octane outboard motor fuel store near KY Lake.....CJ or I can tell you where it's at....

fixed it for ya.   ;)

Are we gona need a Trout stamp on our kentucky liscenses?

Called for prices last night 30 bucks for a week or 50 for a year add 10 for trout if needed.

Their number is =  1-877-598-2401 If anyone needs it - Dont know the website but PM and i can find it.

No trout stamp need for all other fish except trout. I don't think Ky Lake has trout.
