Hmmm, I wonder if 40 lbs. of C4 will be enough for the week?

Oh hell, it's on sale, so I'd might as well bring 80 lbs. Teacher always said that if I didn't have enough for everyone to not bring any at all.

I like it. We can have a lure building class using the C4. Next day everyone fishes with det cord....

Anybody know anything about boat parking around the lodge?  Any plug in's for charging?  Would a cabin be a better choice for those thinking of bringing a boat?  Thanks, Bert

There is really nothing to speak of in this area and I cant say I have ever been to a really great tackle shop.

Hey all im going on the Roadtrip this year and will probably be heading out alone from NC. If anyone is wanting to room up or ride with pm me dont have a roommate yet or a full truck. (Sorry im not bringing a boat, but can pull one)

That's the school on my Criminal Justice degree.

There is several tackle shops around. The best one is at Draffenville. Some of you will probally go by it on the way in. It is about 15 miles from Kenlake State Park.

SpeadBead I wouldn't miss a opportunity like this. That week isn't going to cost that much

1. Lodging  $ 350.00 for five days

2. Gas  for van and boat  roughly  $ 500.00

3. Food    $150.00

4. Misc.    $150.00  

TOTAL: $ 1150.00

I might not spend that much but I like to have extra money for a just in case situation when driving 10 hrs. pulling a boat. I also got AAA as a back-up  ;D

I wanted to throw this out there...

If anyone wants to make a side dish to go along with the chicken cookout on Tuesday, let me know. Whatever you think would go well with pit grilled chicken sounds fine with me.

Obviously, we are still waiting on a final count for that meal, so I dont really know how much of a chore you would be signing up for.

My ears are open.

I got two food-service size cans of chili beans that need to be eaten.

I would dread being on the lake with you the next day.
