Discontinued Lures

I thought this might be interesting and bring back some memories.

Which bait or lure that is no longer made would you like to see back in production.

I would give anything for some 1/4 oz. Strike King Timberspins.

Well, I wouldnt want to see them back in production since I have a few of them ;D, but the 3:16 Armageddon and Wake Bait are by far my favorite discontinued lures.

Berkley had a few colors in their lipless divers I would like to see again.... :-X

Rapala Rattlin Fat Rap

Rapala Fat Rap

Rapala Shallow Fat Rap

Heddon Sonic and Super Sonic

Mann 's Jelly Waggler

Skillet and I were just talking about this. I wish Bomber would bring back the patterns that Excalibur used to have on their Fat Free Shads, namely the Red Shad and Coppernose Bluegill. I have one of each left but I don't fish them as aggressively as I do my other cranks for the fear of lossing them.

Other than that I would like to see some good old 80's/early 90's craw worms back on the market like the Riverside Big Claw or Mister Twister Fighting Craw.

have some helicopter lures in the truck, bought them at a garage sale for $.25 a pack last year, there fun to pull out at weighin's ;D

I still have some of these.

Also some Gillrakers, Mannipulators, and Gator Tails.

I tend to buy out the store when I hit on something that works.

I'll cry when they are gone :'(

Gene Larew's 8" hooktail worm in Tomato was my #1 bait back in the day (late 80's/early 90's).  It was hand poured and totally different than the injected version Gene Larew makes today  :-[.

Luck E Strike's Salty Sensation was also a bait I used a lot.  We used to call them 'Chicken Foots'.

Stanley baby titanium spinnerbaits

x3 on the fatraps :D

I wish they would bring back the old fat free shads with the transluscent sides and the reflective inserts, these baits have caught me a lot of fish and I only have a couple left thanks to Northern Pike. :'(

Hey Primus; Not many "house " Lures are all that effective, but these shad baits by Cabela's are just as deadly This is a link for the kit, it is better to find what works for y9ou, but the kit psoting will show the colors available. YOU MUST SWITCH OUT THE STOCK HOOKS HOWEVER!

Thanks for the tip Muddy, I'll pick up a few to try for next season.

My Favorites are the Glass / Black Shad. I switch out the hooks to VMC's, the stock hooks are worse than Heddon's ::D

Fat raps

Rapala to bring back the CW color

Kangaroo grub

Madman lizards in Volcano color

Maybe we can get some trading going on as I think I have some of the stuff mentioned? I should have a couple of those baby TI spinnerbaits and some older fat free shads but I can't give up the reflective ones as they are my favorite.

Allen

Wish I could find some 1/4 oz. Mud Bugs.

Still got a good many Screamer worms.

ike's stone jig... I bought like 50 of them at bps when I heard they were discontinued they had to get them from the back.  The lady that got them for me thought I was crazy, I spent all my money that weekend on those jigs.

Heddon Prowler.

The first bass I caught on an artificial lure many years ago was with one of these my Dad let me use.

I saved my allowances to buy more of them and they are all gone.

I still have 1 that is probably 40 years old, but I am afraid to get it wet.
