Now you're being the turd not sharing with the rest of VA! lol just joking but that is a very nice bass. Way to go. It is always nice to bond with family. I wish my father-n-law was closer to fish with, it would be nice to spend time with him. I'm going tomorrow and hoping to do something with a jig.

It was me! Yeh, i never take it personally if someone avoids sharing lakes and spots with me. It was funny reading the recent post on the general forum about talking about your "honeyhole". Come on, this is fishing, there is gonna be secrecy whether people agree with it or not.

Nice fish for sure. Albeit, without a scale I don't think you could even flirt with the term "double digit". Unless your Mike  Long or Butchered Brown, and your big bass resume is ridiculous.

For what its worth, I think its 45 pounds man, and you just threw it all away by not having an accurate scale.

Scales are very humbling, man.

It does look to be every bit of 7 lbs could even be 8 lbs. A bit of a tip. Length and girth measurements tend to be somewhat accurate and stops some speculation. The next time take 2 pieces of line and cut them to suit the lentgh and girth. Save them and check latter, it will remove some doubt.

Awesome fish. Unfortunately, when you catch another fish in this range you won't know if you have a new PB or not.

We did measure its length and it was around 22-23.5 inches I don't remember exactly.

Didn't mean to get folks fired up, you will just have to take my word when I say i've weighed 7 pounders and this was bigger, good fishing all
