3-3.5 pounds.

3.25-3.75? Bad angle for guessing.  Nice chunk!!!!

I would also guess 3.5 lbs.  That thing looks like it should weigh around 5 though.  Look at the size of it's tail compared to the rest of it's body.  Maybe the camera angle?

3 1/2 is close

Ditto here too! Around 3 1/2.

To check any fish pic, first look at the size of the hand holding it. That fist is larger than the bass head and gills.  Looks like 161/2  inches and maybe three pounds.

3.5 is my guess.that's about an 18 inch fish.a 20 inch bass should weigh 4.5 to 5.

I play this same game every month when I get my issue of bassmaster magazine. There are certainly times when I am doubting the validity of the weights on the lunker page. To get your picture in the mag your smallmouth has to be over 6 pounds. It's almost comical some of the bass people are trying to pass off as meeting the minimum weight. I'll go with the general consensus on this fish, probably in the low to mid 3 pound range.

I'll say 2 1/2 pounds

No way dude. We regularly catch 2 1/2 pounders in tournaments here, and based on the estimated length and judging by the picture, that fish is bigger than 2 1/2.

For example, last tourney on 3 mile, one of our 15 3/4 inch fish weighed 2.4 pounds. If the fish pictured is 20 inches, which it apprears close, it is bigger than 2.5.

No way dude.

Maybe he just has the biggest hand in the world. I doubt if that fish is near 20" but you are welcome to think anything you want. He asked for a guess, I gave him one. How much bigger do you think that fish is than this fish?

ifishflorida-

bucket of a mouth, but skinny.  Yours has potential to be much bigger than knkfiends if it were a different time of year.

I  think Ifishfloridas point is that photos are decieving.  When I said "ditto", I was being lazy but I would guess 2.75-3.25 tops for knkfiends fish.

To assist with ifishflorids point, this fish weighs 3.2lbs

Maybe! ;D

Oh well, I was going from the estimated 20" length and not scrutinizing the pics. I guess we will never know.

My suggestion knkfiend, get a scale! It is a great tool to avoid controversey.

That first fish would probally not break 3 lbs.  I'd say 2.8.

3 pounds or under if its skinny.

How much ? I 'm 5'8".

I'm guessing 22-23", average range of 6 lb 6oz - 7 lb 5 oz. However, this big girl looks thick (that's PC for fat). So, I'll say just over 8 lbs., 8 lbs 2 oz.
