I think the best course of action in the future with this guy is utter indifference.  He is either:

A)  Pulling our chains and trying to get a rise out of us (and if so, he has been quite successful)

or

 A complete moron and nothing we say could possibly rehabilitate him

Maybe we should all just ignore him and he will go away or change his attitude.

Not to offend any of you young honest guys. But thegreatestfisher falls in that age of guys we usually have problems with. (16-20yrs old) He just made everything he will ever say on this site useless.

Seems most here have his number anyway, we just aren't used to it,.......but that's why we've stayed.

Fluke hit it on the head, anything he says after what he's already said, should just be listed in everything else under Matt-fly's "joke of the day" unless he changes his ways soon.

I think our best bet is to ignore "thegreatestfisher", this person really needs attention, and is trying to get a rise out of everyone.  I don't think we should respond to anything he says.  If you see a post by him, don't even read it.

I've deleted most of his posts and sent a stern warning.  IP's are automatically logged, so it's painstakenly easy for me to ban him, if it comes to that.  But I have a hunch he's just looking for respect -- just going about it the wrong way.  I gave him some pointers, the choice is in his hands.

Glenn, I think it was very generous of you to give him the benefit of the doubt.  Hopefully he will come to realize that the value of this site is to be real and honest.  The folks here will do whatever they can to help anyone.  The usenet is the place for unmoderated ignorance.

I wasn't really out to get the guy banned.  I just felt that I and several others were perhaps having a little bit too much fun with him and maybe we were "feeding the beast".  Anyway, I hope he sticks around.  You have to admit he's pretty funny.

I wouldn't say he was pathetic he is just a kid with his heart in the wrong place. Maybe he will heed glenns advice and use this site as a tool to become better or so we should hope.
