should be called 1/4 of a senko >wonder if Zoom will come out with a fat albert with no tail

Does it come with batteries?

I would not waste my money on those.

Can't say I see the point, but I'm sure RW will be along shortly to expound on this lure's virtues.

I've been doing that with Fat Ika's for a while. I called it the sausage bait. I need to stop telling my friend at Yamamoto what I do with their baits  ;D

It look so dumb but it gets bit. Its like a short, fat Senko.

If Raul says this bait is lethal, then this bait is lethal.

Will have to look them up and give 'em a try this summer.

Hey, is that the Bait Monkey swinging by my window????  ;D

Sam Raul is makin fun a larger version would be a senko 5" Im sure u knew this already  :D

Now that's funny! But I have to say, there's a private pond I get to fish on occassion that some of the people that fishes there use hot dogs and even brauts and catch bass up around 25" or so. If they'd make a larger version (hot dog or braut sized), I consider using them!  ;D

I'm sure that bait will work especially in highly pressured waters.

In japan alot of good size bass are caught with such small baits.

I bet it would also work great for river smallies.

Keitech has a very similar bait on the market. The Zizai Pupa.

This bait is hollow an you can insert up to 5 little tungsten sinkers into the bait for a faster fall rate.

Sometimes small baits work great, especially on very finicky bass.

It's not always "go big or go home".

The only problem I find with this particular bait is the size, with barely 4 cm long anything with fins takes a shot at it, it 's one of those baits I 'm really thinking about sending a few samples to Del-Mart to have a mold made but for a larger version ..... but I can 't think about how big it should be.   :-[

I 've got about 100 pcs of this one:

I know Damiki makes it but for whatever reason they are not in their website  :-?, found them with a guy that sells factory seconds in a swap market.

[Keitech has a very similar bait on the market. The Zizai Pupa/quote]

Means "cat poop" in Japanese.

i better not get any emails about buying this one in bulk. i'll have to buy a goat or a deer and follow it around all day.

LOL...now there is some built in scent for ya!

There is no doubt it would work. Mike Iaconelli won a tournament a few years ago where he was using a 4" Senko. The bite almost completely stopped, but he noticed some bass in the area that were feeding on these huge dragonflies. He bit his Senko in half, and started casting out this 'nub'. He instantly started catching fish....and pulled off the W. The 2" of Senko he was lobbing was barely as long as his 4/0 hook.

I don't understand the action. I love senkos but I believe it's action is all in the tail wag, so is it simply just the fall? How about flipping one of these things?

Wait a minute forget what I said, flipping one of these would be money in pressured waters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im buying a pack

With baits like those, including the senko, I don 't think it 's the tail waggling what cause the fish to bite, I 'm positive it 's the way the bait drifts from one side to the other as it sinks, they catch it on the fall, either on the initial cast or after you lift the bait from the bottom and let it sink again.
