Well now...

Never assume someone put the drain plug indouble checkbetter to look like fool at the ramp than on the water.

I always said this one would never get me and it has gotten me twice now!!!  Nothing like the feel of panic when you are several miles from the ramp and no plug in the boat.   :-?

Try Lake Erie in 3-5 footers.  Color me panicked!

Catt, I hope you take this as a compliment because it is meant as such. Whenever I read your posts I can't help but think of Hank Hill from King of The Hill.  I bet you are a super cool guy to fish with!!

You know what they say...  there are 2 types of boaters, those that have and those that will forget the plug at some point.

I can just barely reach my plug from the back deck...  any idea how I figured that out?   ::)

Never assume the person who's boat is half-swamped forgot to put in their drain plug. Maybe they wanted to wash the bottom half of their boat. ;):):D ;D

fishinfreind I take that as a compliment ;)

Each and every one was things I've seen or over heard someone say at the launch or caf é just this year & I'm thinking never assume any thing.

This year the bass taught me this one; never assume because the surface temperature is in the 60s to lower 70s the bass are on the bedsI found temperatures in the upper 50s since mid-February & upper 60s to lower 70s this month but the majority of the bass still aint on the beds.

Never assume that the worst rain storm in the world isn't possible when no rain is forcasted.
