Hello,

Lately, we've had to edit, lock, or delete a few threads - something we do not like to do.  This has lead to angry PM's with demands for "an explanation"; even a few threats towards the mods and I.

All of these could have been avoided by simply reading the FAQ's and stickies above.  I don't appreciate somebody demanding an explanation when it's clearly spelled out in the FAQ's and stickies.  

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them.  Even if you're an old fart here, as I've recently updated them.  They're there for a reason.

Actually, these were threats to come to Kentucky lake and do physical harm.

I've been on the receiving end of that type of threat (not here, of course).  It ain't fun.  Shame on them!

I can't believe someone would get so worked up over that kind of thing.  It is almost comical.

That is completely unacceptable!  Depending on the severity of the threats I would be tempted to involve the law.

I'll second that amendment.

That kind of attitude is way out of bounds, and I have to believe, illegal.

I am truly sorry to hear that guys. I would BET at least 99% of the guys and gals here greatly appreciate the lengths you have had to go through to keep this site clean.

I know folks get online and love to throw around threats. Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the FAQ's I did not know you changed them.

If I had any suggestions on the thread deletions, it would be to consider sending a PM to the author for those that are "on the fence" or near the fence. I have had a couple deleted, and as I have no interest in causing issues with you guys, it would be helpful to get an idea what about that thread got it tossed. Just to make sure we are that much more careful in the future.

Thanks Glenn for starting this thread.  I am one of the "Old Farts" and was not aware that the FAQs had been updated.

As far as the "Threats" If anyone shows up at Ky Lake with trouble on their mind   I will hit them with my cane.
