yeah i figured that most people wouldn't have a name. guess i should've specified I was looking for the bigger more popular lakes like Castaic, Fork, Lay Lake, Champlain, St Clair, etc.

Castaic is a small lake less than 3 miles long, but it is popular. Tight lipped doesn't do a bass angler justice. Not only are bass anglers secret about where they fish, they also will lie and will tell you anything to keep you away from their spots.

Typical answers; the ski arm, the fish arm, Elizabeth canyon, any area marked on the lake map.

Here's two popular striper spots.

Hens and Chickens reef, just south of Gooseberry Island, in Westport, MA. There is one rock that stands alone with a spindle to warn mariners that is known as Old ****, goes with the Hens and Chickens. The Chickens Channel runs between Gooseberry and the Chickens as it is called by the locals.

Extending from Cuttyhunk into Rhode Island sound is another rocky reef, only three or four miles SSE of Hens and Chickens.

It is a bit larger, so it is aptly named Sow and Pigs.
