One of my more memorable slips of the pun was when my wife had some female surgery. I had gone to the cafeteria for a bite to eat.

As I was returning to my wife's room, I bumped into her surgeon, who happened to be a woman and was on her way to check on my wife.

She said all went well, but you never know what you will find before hand.

So me, being the lummox that I am said to her, "It's like opening Pandora's Box." It was out before I could stop it. She laughed it off and told me it was a good pun.
