Biggest Annoyance When Fishing.

I just do not fish in a steady soaking rain, slight drizzle and/or on and off showers are usually desirable.

All kinds of wind is just a way of life here. Blowing over 20 mph is a deal breaker for me.

Sunny, HOT & FLAT CALM is brutal. Although I often fish in it anyway with very little success except sunrise/set and night ops.

Also Fog at night is very tough, there is just NO depth perception. So while casting to shallow water structure, I occasionally launch lures half way up into a tree line because I was a little closer than I thought. Attempting to get them back is always an adventure as well. I usually end up flippin at that point.

Wind is bothersome.

My biggest complaint is ice on lakes...

it is 21 with 16mph wind.  You could not pay me to hit a river today.

WIND...without a doubt.  I can handle just about anything else, but winds over 20 mph really dampen my enthusiasm.

Wind for the simple fact that a lot of times I'm fishing on a pontoon boat (grandparents lake), so that thing gets blown like a sailboat. Even when I'm in the Champion, I hate the winds that'll leave white caps...hate them.

A few people say how they hate the heat, but I love it. The hotter the better. Less fishing preassure on the lake, and the fish (to me) are more predictable. I fished a tournament last year with a temp of 109  :o.

Heat doesn't bother you cause you likely have a top on the pontoon boat. (good fishing boat by the way) I have a clamp on umbrella on my kayak, another for my dogs of coarse :)

if its too cold i can't move my fingers, and i lose the dexterity required to change lures or handle my reels properly. i think the worse is when it's upper 90's even 100's with no wind. cant tolerate that. if its that hot with even a slight breeze, its possible

Wind is okay, as long as i can control the boat & fish at the same time. I hate the heat and humidity, and drenching rain, and blue skies/no wind conditions. Not catching anything after a couple of hours annoys me a little, but taking 4 or more hours (unusual) really starts to work on me. People that boat, jet ski,or paddle between me and a dock that i am fishing from 50' away don't help much either. But the worst is the ice....

Gusty wind is the worst for me , I have what might the smallest bass boat ever ( 15 ft Cajun aluminum low profile ) for now. :(

And the wind can sink me for real, if it starts to white cap I head in.

Plus I've had no luck in the wind----Yet

Other people!

1. Parents who don't watch their children who come too close to me and get in the way.

2. People who yell and scream around me.

3. People who throw things into the lake like rocks.

4. Boats that don't respect others while on the water.
