So on Facebook I noticed a contest just prior to the new year. First person to catch a fish on a Strike King product, posts it to their page wins a prize package. I said what the hell and grabbed a rod while I was watching the fireworks out back. Ended up catching a small fish (1-1.5 pounds) on a Rage Craw, snapped a picture and sent it in. Got a message from Chris Brown telling me that I won and they'd send out a prize pack.

Now I figured that I'd probably get a few lures a hat or something like that. When FedEx dropped off this huge box I was plenty surprised. This is what I found inside:

There's EXIF metadata buried in most image files. It can be faked, but....

They seem to be very generous with their products. I emailed them about the weedguard falling off on one of their jigs and they mailed me three back and a hat.

They have some good people over there.

Yeah, man. I just got back from my business trip and went to Lox this morning for a couple hours (I had a 12:00 appt).  Tied into a couple beasts today. Good frog bite today until about 8:30.  After that it was swimbaits. No finesse required!

Sounds like a good Florida day.  Kind of surprised you were out there.  It was raining here the entire day.  Not fun.

You got some nice gear.  Doesn't take the sting away, though.  Fish it like you stole it - you did! 

i should have just got a bass on new years eve and took a pic at 12:01 new years lol.  kept the fish in the live well for the day.  That would have been the way to win lol, i should have thought of it during the contest.

That's a heck of a package man, very nice.
