I know this topic flares its head every once in a while but COME ON!!! This guy is ridiculous!!! He starts the show polishing the boat with BTS (label forward of course!), moves on to Gary Yamamoto swim senkos, (has anyone ever caught anything on these besides him??), and of course gets the Diamond braid, and the BPS flippin stick in. I was waiting for him to pull his under wear band out and show us the Fruit of the Loom label!!! I had to turn it off. I know...sponsors, without them no show...but really. It actually makes me NOT want to buy anything he pimps!

I think it's a tie between him and Bill Dance. At least Roland Martin is out fishing public water and catching average size fish, unlike Mr. Dance.

Yup, roland is the pitch master, I spend half the show laughing at the cheesy attempts to hawk a product.  I have caught fish off swim senkos, but nothing great like he makes them out to be.

I have caught a ton of fish on the swim senkos and the aruku shad he pitches. The swim senkos don't last long tho, 2 fish usually.

I like when they show him drinking those 5 hour energy shots.  Very subtle - not.

However, watch Shaw Grigsby's shows.  He never shuts up about the brands he's trying to shill.

Roland Martin's show is a half hour commercial. 

Seems like every show he's pushing the Color-C-Lector as well.

I can at least make it through a Roland Martin program.  Charlie Ingram, host of Fishing University, is too much to take.  That guy does everything short of servicing the salesman he is fishing with when pushing a product.

Let me drop my powerpole here into Lake Okeechobee, just down the lake form Roland Martin Marina, cause I can see a good spot out there with my Ono's Polarized Sunglasses.  See there...looks like a good 4-5lber...oh son....oh son....that's a good fish.  that's a 6..7..8lber on the Gary Yamamoto senko.  I just took a turbopower energy shot and it gave me the strength to pull in that 9lber with my 50lb Diamond Braid on my Johnny Morris Gold Series reel.  You see how that 10lber was pulling, it's important to have a stout rod like this 6'6''MH Roland Martin Signature rod.  Oh son, what a deal.

Hahahahaha i don't think there is. I got a pack of swim senkos and never caught anything with them for some reason.Then I'd use just a normal senko or Ocho and catch them haha i dont know what it is. But ya some things are rediculous. Like sometimes he'll be fishing a freakin 10 acre pond or something and he unloads his 21 foot nitro z 9 with a 250. Or he'll be like man its hot.Good thing i got my SUNSCREEN and my 5 HOUR ENERY EXTREME DRINK.

I have to agree--Roland is not very subtle with his product endorsments but at least he fishes public water and not some private stock pond all the time! :
