Underwater Bass Video

Featured Replies

Friend sent me this on YT. Some great footage of bass taking various baits. The music is a little loud for my taste, but it's an awesome video.

That's really neat! It's awsome how the bass just engulf the lures!

I want to fish where ever that guy was at! Those bass were pigs!  :o

wow where was that guy fishing?! that water was so clear it looks like paradise

AWESOME video! Ive been looking all over the internet for a video like this for months. Thanks for sharing!!

I believe a lot, if not all, of that footage came from the Glen Lau video series. Google him up and you can find the whole video collection now on DVD, I have some of the older ones on VHS.

Wow Grey Wolf, I didn't know you had a youtube account.  ;D

The best shot was with the frog, the strike and the music were timed perfectly

Great Video

Now that is a GREAT video! You should get a award or something> Only bad thing that I can say, it should have been a Country tune! LOL

That is an old Glen Lau video. Thats Homer Circle (Uncle Homer) catching the fish on the Crystal River in cetral Florida near Inverness. The only reason I know that is my Aunt lives there and went fishing on it a couple times. You can see a dime hit bottom in 20-30 feet of water it's so clear. The crazy blue water you see is the springs coming up out of the river bottom.

Alot of that was filmed in the Rainbow River ,FL where Doug Hannon (The Bass Professor ) spent alot of time under water he also fished springs and spring runs around the Ocala National Forest,FL..Some of those where commercials from the 80's..Other footage was from Glen Lau videos.

(yellow single blade spinner was the "snagless sally")

He use to claim that the world record bass was in the Rainbow River.People don't give him much credit these days..But alot of what we know about big bass today was from Doug and Glen's studies.

Great video! Those bass look like they've never seen a lure before.  I like the part at 1:10 where the bass takes the 10" worm by the tail, hold onto it for 3 seconds, and doesn't engulf it until it tries to get away.

This video just made 5th period a little shorter.... ;D Thanks!

Man, that baby duck was freaked out.  Looks like half the lures had hooks and the other half did not.  Cool vid; very cool.

At one time I had this VHS tape and it is Glen Lau filming and Homer Circle fishing. Classic footage for sure!!
