Does anyone use any type of scents? Do they really work, or are they a waste of $$$?

    I use Megastrike scent.  IMO, they are better than everybody else because they last a heck of a lot longer and smell really good!!!!!!!  Also, I do believe that scents helps those fincky fish bite instead of just a lure without scent.

    P.S. Megastrike is also a advertiser on this forum.

Im using gulp alive crawfish spray scent. This product is really good and is productive. Only 9 bucks for a bottle. try... ull see how it works.

I have used Bang craw...I can't see any difference. Just bought some of JJ's magic, but haven't really tested it yet..others swear by it.

I don't throw a jig or soft plastic without scent.

You can put Megastrike on your spinnerbaits and hardbaits as it is kind of a paste. They do work.

I think "scent" helps hold a bite a little longer. I use JJ's Magic

on jig trailers (pre-soaked and stored in small plastic bags).

For all other soft plastics and swimbaits, MegaStrike.

kick n bass anise shad and yum crawfish. i dont know if they really work but i forget to use them most of the time and still catch fish.

They are a waste of $$$. Use your under arm deodorant it will work just as well. Bass are not scent feeders.

Not yet but I'm getting real thirsty

I use a tube of MegaStrike almost every year. Great stuff. At least the fish think so. Maybe it's just my confidence edge? Whatever....the proof is in the catchin'!  

I'm sorry, but it just has not been proven to me. I have never been out fished by anyone I was sharing a boat with that was using scent when I was not.

I started out occasionally using Yum craw scent and bought the megastrike scent this year.  I think it makes a difference, the fish hold on a little longer giving you time to set the hook, in my opinion.
