Culprit Worm testimonial

Featured Replies

I went to a little local pond after work today and shore fished for an hour or so with the 7.5 black/shad culprit.  It totally killed it.  I got six fish in an hour, 5 bass and a pick.  I've had a pack in my box for a couple weeks and decided to whip em out on a whim.  It was a great decision and I can honestly say I'm done with Power Worms for the time being.  The action on culprits is just too good.  Also the durability is great.  I got all these fish on the same worm and it's still on the end of my line.

Thanks Culprit.

I think you might have a couple things working here.

For as long as I can remember, "ribbontail" worms perform their best during the summertime.

Apparently the straight-worm takes a breather while bass are at peak metabolic rate.

The other thing is "Culprit", no doubt about it. Though I've had many favorite ribbontail worm brands,

(currently SK Anaconda), I believe that I've caught more bass on the culprit worm than any other brand

(but others are rapidly catching up).

I am actually not a big fan of them but I am getting very partial to the culprit 12 incher. It's a pretty nice worm.

I used to fish Culprit all the time, then went to Wally world to get another pack. They were out of the red shad color so I bought the Zoom brand. I've been very happy with them and haven't gone near Culprit since.

i have 3 bags of worms in my panic box.

zoom finesse

culprit 7.5

zoom ole monster

if they don't hit one of them, it's time to go to the house.

My two biggest bass ever were both a bit under 8 lbs.  The bigger one was caught on a Creme pre-rigged worm with one of those little propellers.  The other was caught on a Culprit.   I've caught lots of bass on Culprits.   They are great, classic, baits.

Junebug Culprits. Everyone should get rid of theirs immediately. They do not catch fish. In fact, they repel them. PM me and I will give you proper disposal instructions.... ::)

The Culprit worm is what I caught my first artificial lure bass on when I was 5 years old!  Red shad all day baby!!!  Classic lure still kickin bass!

My personal best was caught with one. Big fish love them.

I use the tequilla shad been my favorite for years. I had used other brands of ribbion tailed worms but culprit has always produced big bass for me.

Love the culprit worms I have a ton of them in my arsenal haven't really been fishing with plastics lately though. I also caught my PB on a 4.5 Culprit. I like tomato and red shad!
