Hi, I'm Collin and I'm a Cowboys fan.

(Hi Collin)

I've been a cowboys fan since I was born, and it still sucks to be one.

Anyways, it seems the Giants have a new Cowboys Killer, and its Cruz. I thought we might have actually been able to make a comeback in the fourth, and maybe get it tied up and get into OT, but on that 3 & 7 of course Eli escapes a should've been sack to hit Cruz for a idc how many yard pass. Point is, that was the game for us.

Th good news is, there is always next year. Hopefully in the offseason the defense may actually have a little knowledge on Ryan's scheme and not look like they don't know what's going on (they Probably dont). With the lockout, i think he may have been trying to get a little much from his players. Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE draft some corners, safetys, and some more ILB's(excluding Lee and that other new guy, forget his name) Keith Brooking and Brady James are washed up, can't cover, can't tackle, and are really too slow. Ware did well this season, especially for having almost no help on the other side of the ball from Spencer, Hatcher even did almost as good as Spencer. Ratliff has done decent this year as well. Over all though I think our secondary is just too old. We need some younger, faster, guys at corner and some people who can tackle. I wish T-New could go but to cut him it would really hurt our cap too much. He'll probably be around next year sadly.

And you know what? I wouldn't even say Romo blew this game. Yeah, he had a pick but it really falls on the defence. He had a pretty good game, even with his right hand really swollen. Also, I must say the cowboys had opportunites to get back into the game but BLEW them. I punt return fumbled and ball falls on it, but it pops out? COME ONE MAN!!! You gotta hold onto those. And then the Cowboys force a fumble, but of course they had a neutral zone infraction which, took it away.

So let's all us Cowboys's fans sit here and rabble on with our struggle for a team capable of anything psotseason. Yeah, for third in the NFC :Idontknow:

I think the cowboys are cursed, until Jerry hires a GM we will never see the super bowl.

Amen. The thing that really IRKS me is when he babbles on and on about all the "talent" they have on the field. They were 8-8 and could easily have 4-12. I am not sure where all that talent is, because from my seat they have 1 elite player...Ware, and several JAGS...(just a guys). Couple that with the rest of the guys who are bottom fodder on the dallas roster and maybe not even on any other roster and that equates to ....8-8.

Jerry Jones must be running out of patience with a team that has not made the playoffs in ages and the last time they did they lost.

I would not be surprised if Bamasux's Nickie Satan jumped to the Cowgirls.

It will be interesting to see if Jones can get Matt Flynn from the Packers to replace Romeo.

Time will tell what changes will be made in Big D.

It befuddles me how a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a very long time, still gets a ton of media play, hype, and Monday/Sunday night games.

They're arguably one of the most popular teams in the country, and the most widely hated team in the country. Gotta please the masses.

What he said ^

It's like, why are the Yankees on FOX every other Saturday, and every third Sunday night.

2 years isn't exactly ages, and they did win the wildcard-game, but that isn't exactly bragging material.

Nick Satan will not come to the Cowboys because he won't have any control thanks to Jerry.

Romo had a career best year, his stats were great. And really he, himself, only lost two games.

Too bad football season has a big offseason... I'm ready for next year!

My 1st SB memory was losing to the Steelers in '79.

Nick won't go to the Cowgirls, cause his wife won't let him. He's got a good thing going in T-Town, and she enjoys the "fame" it brings her as his wife.

A lot of people hate the cowboys but ive kinda been rooting for them.theyve lost a lot of close games lol sucks for them too cause back to back weekends they lost because of a time out before the field goal was kicked

I don't think coaching was the main problem the last year and a half, I still contend that the Dallas team is void of talent.

And for a team that was in most every game, they sure lost a lot of the close games, many times beating themselves with penalties and "missed" opportunities. A false start penalty that kills a drive in the fourth quarter or a dropped pass or a wrong route run tells me we have players that are not mentally tough enough to win at the highest level.

I do think Garrett is heading in the right direction, but it will take another 2-3 years to fill all the holes/develop younger more athletic players...esp on both lines for this team to be ready to compete with the Eagles, Saints, and Packers. By that time, Ware, Witten, Romo, and Ratliff will be on the downside of their careers.

I still say the blind GM that thinks this team is a super bowl contending team is the problem.

Why would they get Flynn to replace a better Quarterback?

Flynn had one good game and people are saying he should be a starter.

I don't think it was a fluke per se, but there is no way he will be that consistent as a starter especially without any experience.

And as for the Cowboys, they have a good offense with a top ten QB, a top ten RB with Murray, and good receivers in Austin, Bryant, and Robinson.

They need a better coaching staff and a better secondary and they could easily be a championship team.

I don't care what people say about Romo's toughness and skill, he is a good, tough QB.

Romo is a good qb. People always want to jump on the qb, win or lose. The qb is just one of the 22 players (if you only count offense and defense) on the field.

When I was playing ball we used a two qb system. They were both decent but neither was spectacular. Our defense was the best in the state my junior and senior year. The defense carried our team and we won a state championship and got second in state my senior year.

Basically what I'm saying is it takes chemistry, unselfishness, teamwork from the whole team to win a Championship. Be it high school or pro.

The issues you just described, penalties and late game fades, are absolutely coaching issues. They need a coach to teach them the discipline to not commit dumb penalties, and to have the conditioning and mental strength to play 60 minutes, as well as not call dumb *** timeouts to ice their own kicker.

After re-reading my post, I did not put into words my thoughts very clearly.

Here is what I meant to convey:

The key point I am trying to make , and realize, I am a cowboy fan, is that this team is NOT in the top half of the league talent wise. They may be 16th , but no way are they in the top 10.

Did you see the Giants D Line harassing Romo both games....Did you Philly's Offense just embarass our D TWICE?

See my point??? It is not the coaching staff, it is the lack of playmakers on both sides off the ball.

Cowboy fans don't know the meaning of the word "pain".

I started watching pro football before there was an AFL. I was a Giants fan because they were on tv every weekend in our area of New England.

I suffered through them losing championship games to the Packers, more than once, the Colts with Johnny U, and to the Bears who left Y A Tittle standing dazed and bloodied on the field. It was all downhill from there for a couple of decades until Bill Parcells came along, and they finally won it all, thumping Denver, then squeaking out a game over the Bills, and finally ruining the Patriots perfect season by beating them in the Super Bowl. I can still hear the Giants fans singing "Goodbye Allie" a reditiion of "Hello Dolly" at the end of Allie Sherman's coaching career with the Giants.

I lost interest in pro football when the players went on strike and never looked back. Sentimentally I'm still a Giants fan, but I don't live or die by their success or failure.
