Great Day On The River

This morning was a bit breezy, and mid-twenties, but I just had to fish. The only thing I needed was a 1/2 oz Moaner Predator jig (Falcon Craw skirt), with Rage Tail Baby Craw (Green Pumpkin), dipped in clear JJ's, and it was on! The fish were up along the channel edges, near rocks.

Catching quality bass in NH in Late January.

Very nice indeed.

That's quite an impressive day of fishing for the weather you had!

Very nice fish! Got to love getting those pics with the snow in the background! We've got some real warm weather coming this week, into the 60's a couple days. Hoping I'll be able to get on some fish myself!

X2. I'm hitting one of the golf course ponds in Southern Rhode Island. Drove by this afternoon in the 54 degree rain and a saw plenty of open water.

i'm going to put a jig and pork right where the inlet pipe is pouring that relatively warm water into a 2 acre pond that had ice 2 days ago.

I'll report back tomorrow night. I'm so pysched to have open water in what is traditionally the coldest few weeks of winter. It's payback from last year's artic tundra conditions.

Oh, and I hope your a N.E. Patriots fan Shane J. We're in the Big Dance once again. Life is good!
