Basstrix is at great lure. It produces great results. The only problem with them is that the company can't keep up with demand. It was just a matter of time before some other company with the know how knocked them off.

That spot where you caught your fish is perhaps my favorite spot to bank fish on any lake at CE. I have landed alot of big fish from there. That bank is very close to the creek channel and fairly steep. It seems to always have fish in it. If you stand on that spot and aim for the ceder tree on the other side and cast as far as you can. You will drag your worm across a great brush pile in the middle. What was the water level like on Lower Raleigh?

I would just go up and ask at the proshop. They will steer you in the right direction. The worse thing they can say is no. And with six courses your bound to have one say yes.

I think a #2 is too big. It's just a matter of preferance. I use #4 and #6 and I still another site.

I've used a paintball mask and the only problem I had was all the vent holes. It didn't help much when the temps got cold. I solved that problem with tape on the inside but when it got wet from the rain the tape came off.

Some of the origional Spot Removers had a little hook where you could put a blade. It works wonders when the bass are short striking.
