  1. We aren't ripping you as Mods. We are ripping you as fishermen. If you go back in the forums two or more years you will find a few posts where someone brags about tresspassing and you will see that we get real upset. If you haven't gotten it by now then there is no amount of explaining that I can do to help you understand. The only thing I ask is that when you get caught you make a post letting us know what happened.
  2. Change your workout. Your body has gotten used to the same ol, same ol. If you change the excersized up and use your muscles differently it will shock them into burning the fat again. Oh and congrats.
  3. Look before I cross the street???????? Shoot, I'm staying off the sidewalks to. Happy Birthday. Mine and Avid's birthday is tomorrow.
  4. We don't know for sure. But we do know that fish have not developed the part of the brain known for feeling pain.
  5. Tony, you are a thief. You and people who think like you are the small percentage of fishermen that give the rest of us a bad name and reputation. You are taking away (stealing) opportunities for the rest of us who ask for permission. Land owners who have been violated by trespassers are less likely to give permission to us honest people. I don't care if the particular lake you are fishing is private or not. I don't believe you when you say you would respect it if it was private. You've already proven that you don't pay attention to signs if the fishing is good. The fact is that someone who is responsible for that lake doesn't want you fishing on it. So respect that and don't do it. It's not like rolling through a stop sign when nobody is coming. Running a stop sign doesn't have any effect on other people. Trespassing does.
  6. He made one for my brother in law for Christmas. He told my brother-in-law that if he didn't use it like it was intended that he was going to take it back. It was a beautiful utility knife. It has a stag horn handle with brass accents. My brother-in-law even used it in Iraq.
  7. Look for things like ditches, dropoffs, stumps, rocks, logs, brush, points, humps, and anything that is different from the majority of what is on the bottom. Details are what will make the difference once the water comes back up. It doesn't have to be much, just different. Take a picture of it and post it if you can.
  8. This means that someone is having lunch. It could be a bass or any other fish. Toss in a fluke and see if there are any takers.
  9. I went to Lowes and got a short peice of plastic pipe that is used for sink faucets. I slid a short peice through the grommit and threaded the line through. Problem fixed.
  10. Tokyo_Tony and iminsanenutz, I can't believe what I am reading. Are you serious. This kind of crap infuriates me. It's crooks like you that give antis the ammunition they need to take away our way of life. I can't stand the total disregard for private property and posted land. My father and I are owners of a fairly large piece of property. A few weeks ago I went out to check it and someone had cut a few trees down next to my gate so they could drive their four wheeler around it and use it like they owned it. Not only did they trespass on my property they also stole a 1200 dollar deer stand. This is the third stand that has been taken from me in the last several years and it is my property. I have to constantly check the boundaries for places that these crooks use to enter. YOU DO NOT OWN THESE PLACES. YOU DO NOT PAY THE TAXES ON THEM. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE THEM AS THOUGH THEY BELONG TO YOU. YOU ARE A THIEF AND YOU ARE STEALING FROM EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US. > Johnnydel, I am sorry I had to blow your thread up like that. Allow me to respond to your post. Having low water in your lake isn't a bad thing. It gives you the opportunity to get a peice of paper and a camera and a GPS and make a detailed map of that lake. So when the water comes back up you know all the sweet spots like they were your living room.
  11. Robert, I know you like the best of things. I think you should check out Wayne Hensley's knives. He is a longtime family friend of my Brother-in-Law. He makes some of the finest knives in the world. He also makes some great utility knives as well. http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/artists/?artist=274 Hensley, Wayne G. 2924 Glad Dale Drive S.E. 12. Welcome to the family.
  13. Oh your talking about planer boards. They spread the lure setup when you are trolling. It moves the lures out from the boat.
  14. I can't stand the retractable rods. They are to heavy and they don't seem to have the sensitivity that a one peice does. I own two retractable rods and I don't use them very often. My best jig rod is a 7'6" heavy Dobyns Rod. I love it.
  15. If you catch one you need to call Game and Fish while you are on your way to the scale so they can meet you there. That way they can have the biologist there to verify species and take samples.
  16. The live fish transfer law is dependent on your intentions. It is illegal to transport live fish if it is intended to be released into another body of water. If your intention is to keep it alive so you can have it weighed and then release it back into the body of water in witch it came than that is not illegal.
  17. Welcome to the forums. If I were you I would take it to a mechanic.
  18. So how do I get an account with them.
  19. I have both and I use them side by side every day. Four days this week. I haven't noticed any difference at all.
  20. wizard, Welcome to the forum. Man you got the perfect boat. I love buying the ones that have trees growning out of them. They are perfect for a rebuild. I have done three of them. Although all of mine have been converted to electric boats. It's not hard to do with a few tools and some research.
  21. I have two American Rodsmith rods. They are boat glass rods for cranking and they are great.
  22. I have used the mosquito hooks, and the splitshot/dropshot hooks and they are good but I recently started useing small circle hooks and my hookup rate has gone way up. I can't stand the standout hooks. They are to big and when I am trying to entice pressured bass I don't wan't them to see the hook. With any hook just be sure to remember that you don't need to set the hook hard just start reeling and bring your rod tight.
  23. Tackle Tour said $259. So they made it a little lighter by removing the ball bearings from the handle and using more aluminum. Can somebody explain to me why the $50 increase in price.
  24. This is my dad doing what he loves the most. Trout fishing. Here's another cool one. And here are my boys.
