  1. You sorry little yankee.
  2. The foam padding is in the rack with all the other runners at Lowes. Just ask for the Anti-Fatigue Runner and they will point you to it. You should only need four feet of it for the front deck. You only put it under where you stand the most.
  3. Welcome to the family. We are here to support your addiction.
  4. Gatorbassman replied to Catt's topic in Fishing Reports
That's sweet Catt. Great..... No........ Super fish. As for the camera. I can't belived it. I'm bummed for ya'll
  5. Welcome to the forum. It was my repuild that you saw at the top. I hope it helps you out. If you have any questions feel free to ask. There are alot of guys on here that rebuild boats. You have a 79 Tracker Hull. Man you can get some big bucks here in Georgia for that thing. That is the best hull for a rebuild. Sence you are going to use it for a gas boat you just need to remember to make sure the back hatch is vented. Hopefully the previous owner didn't get rid of those two silver vents that are on the back of the boat. You shouldn't have to worry about that so long as it is vented and your wireing is well insulated. Has the boat ever sat out in the weather for a long period of time? Do the steering cables still work good? How much money are you looking to spend on this rebuild? With a complete redesign of the front deck there no reason why you shouldn't be able to have a long rod locker. Like Long Mike said. Take a few pictures of the boat and post them so we can help you better.
  6. The Lowes stuff is better. I've put it on three boats and it works great. Cart7 is right the HD stuff will bleed through. Check out the anti-fatigue foam pad that I put under mine. It makes a huge difference. It's in the thread at the top. "Birth of and electric bass boat."
  7. At the cabins. There are power hookups at the campsites as well. I'm not sure about the hotel parking lot though.
  8. That's right. It's all for the good of the children. I have two boys and my wife is expecting our third. I think I need a bigger boat.
  9. I'll find my thread from last year and bump it. Thanks for the reminder.
  10. Google "Mapsource". Their programs are around 100 bucks. Also, the newest Navionics Maps for your GPS can also go on your computer.
  11. There are plenty of ramps on the lake. Get close and go fishing.
  12. Nothing productive so far. I think we have been down this road a few to many times. Locking...............................................................................Now.
  13. Welcome, It's good to have you with us.
  14. Threading your line threw the guides, tying on a spook, then making a beautiful long cast only to look down and notice you didn't thread the line through the levelwind on the reel. > Waking up in the middle of the night and hearing a rainstorm. You realize you had opened all the hatches in the boat so they could air out overnight. Jump up and run outside in your boxers to cover the boat only to hear a woman's laugh coming from your neighbors porch. Forgetting to put the coupler lock back on the trailer. Remembering while going 70mph down the highway.
  15. I have tried dozens of lines and I keep going back to Izorline XXX copoly. It is the best I've found and the price is hard to beat.
  16. Flourocarbon is the best choice. But if it's to pricey for ya then Moss Green or Smoke Co-poly or mono is the second best choice. There are times during the year that my lakes visibility is 12 to 16feet. I use Izorline Smoke Gray Co-poly almost all the time and it does fine. I do drop to 8lb and 12lb test though.
  17. If this is the case you should just rig yourself an external cooler and put it in the boat when you fish tournaments. This should do you just fine.
  18. Ronnie that's awesome. Your a man after my own hart. I thank the lord everyday for a father who made me be the go-fer. I learned so much from him. I can fix most anything. I can build anything I put my mind to. I grow 14ft tall tomatos in my garden. This is all thanks to my dad. I can't wait to pass that along to my boys. My dad is the reason I am the person I am today. I hope that every father can pass the things they do on to their children. If you don't have any children find one who needs a mentor.
  19. Wow, I'm guilty of every one of those. That's a good list.
  20. Great eye Fluke! I still didn't see it, even after you pointed it out, lol. When you've been hunting as much as I have you can pick a deer out from a mile away. It was my addiction till bassfishing showed it's head.
  21. A wise bassfisherman once told me. "When you get to a new lake and don't have a clue where to start. Fish 10 main lake points first then fish points from the opening to 1/3 of the way into creeks and large coves." This has always worked for me. Bass love points. You can almost always find bass on at least one out of 10 points fished.
  22. Cart7, I forgot about breaking my transducer wire on the Fork trip. That was just one more thing that ticked me off. HPBB, I am only talking about the digital steer motors. The Motor Guide Tour series you are talking about is also the best one I have ever used. I wish I had one on my boat but I got a good deal on a MinnKota that I couldn't pass up.
  23. I keep all my plastics in their origional bags. I use the largest Ziploc Freezer bags I can buy. I take a hole punch and punch one hole in the upper corner of the ziploc bags to give a place for the are to escape. I sort out my plastics in piles and then place them in the ziplocs and lable them with a sharpie. Then I keep the bags in small baskets in my boat. I store all my extras and the ones I don't use very often in a four drawer plastic cabnet in my garage. http://www.sterilite.com/Category.html?Section=Storage&ProductCategory=151 http://www.sterilite.com/Category.html?Section=Storage&ProductCategory=141
  24. DO NOT GET A DIGITAL!!!!!!!!! I used one on our last BassResource Road trip to Lake Fork. You can ask fivebasslimit. I cussed and fussed about that thing the entire trip. They suck. Problems. 1. You are always looking down at it to tell what direction it's going. This is a distraction when trying to concentrate on fishing. 2. If you are about to hit something (ie. rock, stump, ect.) you will hit it because it takes forever to change directions. 3. It is a pain in the tail to deploy and stow. I pinched my finger several times. 4. If it is not locked all the way down there is no way of telling until you hit a wake and it deploys over the side and breaks. Stick with cable steer. Digitals are only good for one thing..... as a fish attractor on the bottom of the lake.
  25. I'm assuming it's on a trailor. Is there anyway of turning it upside down on the trailor. You could make something like this. http://www.boat-cover.net/Attwood_Deluxe_Boat_Cover_Support_System/dm/session_id.880352821--cart_id.508049361--category_id.216555--list_time.1195286074--view_id.38580
